Just had the breakfast burrito and it was great. If they give you a choice, go green sauce all the way man. You cant go wrong and plenty of food.

Staying at hotel for hockey tournament. The eggs are from a box and runny! Eggs are not kept hot/warm like the rest of the mess!! I ate better breakfast in the field while fighting a war while serving in the marines!! Just pathetic! The oj was delicious…….

I work here. Cafe Azul is open Friday Saturday and sunday. You can order breakfast Monday through Sunday because we have an Arizona brew that you can eat in. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 11:00 and lots of served from 2:00 to 5:00 and then dinner starts from 6:00 to 10:00

A little jewel well-hidden in downtown Mesa at the Marriott Hotel! The food is great, the service is fine, pricing is moderate. But the big hit is the ambience! Cozy yet roomy and very comfortable. Couch-style seating with large bay windows that can be opened up when the weather is good. A great place for a lunch meeting or a get-away meal with that special person when you want some privacy. The Chicken-noodle soup with Orso and huge chunks of tender chicken and noodles is delightful. The sandwiches are meaty and the salads are original and very fresh. Hard to find but well worth the effort!

Phil and Eva are AMAZING! They made us feel right at home, especially for someone who travels weekly to AZ and is in AZ more than my own home. I look forward to coming into town weekly just to visit them both. I will say though, the menu needs an upgrade.

We were the only customers and it took almost 15 to serve us. Bacon was burnt and my egg was cold. The only reason I gave a 2 instead of 1 is because waitress was cordial, attentive and very friendly and the place was clean.

First night staying at the Marriott hotel, and I decided to have breakfast at the “ Cafe Azul” food was super cold, I literally just ate a cup of fruit and a bagel. & they still ended up charging me for a breakfast buffet and when I advised them that the food was super cold. They just gave me a $2.00 discount. Very disappointing, I was too sleepy to even bother arguing about how the poor service they provided me.

It gets a star for the white bean soup, which was pretty good. Beyond that, it all goes downhill. Slow service, few vegetarian options, three big screen TVs blaring sports, cold french fries… Unfortunately, I had to eat here three times because we were trapped on the property and there isn’t anything else. At lunch, I ordered the grilled cheese and specifically asked that they use Cheddar cheese instead of the menu American cheese. After sending it back twice, I gave up and ate the American cheese.
