The food was alright but not authentic.

New favorite in Galveston! It seemed like a coffee shop but really it’s a great little place nestled in. The fresh tostadas are great. Salsa Verde is good. Surprisingly, the salsa Roja is good too. Chilango Mole and other flavors make it a little sweeter than other parts of Mexico, but you get actual Mexican food! Even other local restaurants don’t measure up for prices and quality. I will be back anytime I’m in Galveston.

This is authentic Mexican food, not the typical Tex-Mex. If that’s your thing, this is a don’t-miss restaurant. Went on Saturday for birria tacos. Went back to work my way through the menu on Sunday. Queso flameado was amazing. Guacamole was outstanding. Oh, and breakfast all day! Everything I’ve tried, I loved. I’m going to be a regular!

I went to Galveston Beach for fishing, after that we went to this restaurant. I had Quesabirrias and Pozole (Verde). The first dish was fried tortillas with shredded beef. Very delicious! The second dish was the most delicious soup I had ever had. Pork belly, lettuce, and chick peas. The soup taste was sour. The spices and taste were amazing. I would highly recommend the soup.

Tried this gem today. Small dining room and a quiet environment. First thing I noticed upon entering is how dirty the booth seats were that I was about to sit in. Remodel looks like it was slapped together pretty quickluly.

I’ve had this place on my radar for a year and finally had the chance to go and it was well worth it. Impeccable service and the most incredible food, 5 stars across the board. I didn’t take pictures before we dug in, but we had street tacos, birrias and enmoladas… Along with the tres leches and flan for dessert. Everything was amazing!

Very cute breakfast/brunch spot. I had the Mexican Pancakes and my partner had the Carne asada chilaquiles. Both were delicious and tasted just like I was at home in Mexico eating with my grandma

Food is amazing. We got burrito bowls, Pozole, and the Cafe de Olla. Pozole was flavorful and had plenty of pork and hominy. My mom really enjoyed the Cafe de Olla which is coffee, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Yum. It’s a small place with great food so be prepared to wait.
