This is an absolutely excellent business. It truly is an authentic family cafe. The coffee and sandwich I bought tasted pure, delicious, and home-cooked. This place is definitely a must try for lovers of Cuban food and coffee.

I would give 3.5 stars, mostly because of the price, even with being close by the beach. For lunch/dinner a plate can be $15 and up without a drink, add $3-4 for a drink. The dessert is pricey, really would get dessert elsewhere. Also they do charge extra if you use a card so bring cash if you want to avoid the extra fee (I did not know this). The food was good, not too different from what you can find at other spots though. Serving size was enough to fill you up and potentially have leftovers (depends how much you eat). The menu is large so if you have a group with different likes, there should be something for everyone. I did really like the ham croquettes and the price for those was comparable to other places I’ve been –would go back for this but not lunch/dinner.

Amazing food. It’s authentic Cuban and Mexican. I was a little leary about that combo but it’s not the typical Mexican restaurant. The Cafe con Leche was amazing. Cuban sandwich spot on. The coffee Tres Leche was out of this world. Staff were very accommodating and just down right real people. I was glad to pay a little more for real food and great atmosphere. Reminded me of the great food in S. FL. Must try. Must come back!

Perfect little cuban cafe. Food was great, The star being the medianoche sandwich. The churrasco steak was also excellent. Don’t skip dessert the tres leches cake was devine!
