Where do I even begin?! There aren’t enough words to describe the experience we had at this restaurant on a random late Monday night. Not only was the food delicious, the service was impeccable. As soon as you walk in, you feel as though you’ve left bridgewater NJ and instead have entered the most welcoming home and kitchen of grandma Emilia. The atmosphere is welcoming, homey, intimate, and incredibly respectful. The food so delicious it gives meaning back to the saying “food prepared with love,” the wine choices spectacular and paired perfectly well to the meal and a plethora of seasonal innovative cocktail choices for those looking for spirits over wine. The best though? Really is saved for last. Their dessert cart experience of the most delicious choices that will rival any wedding cake tasting you’ve ever had. We ordered 6 desserts for 3 people…it was so good we barely had any left to take away. But as always, don’t take my word for it. Try it for yourself!

We had an amazing experience there with our entire family. The service was absolutely superb. The food was super fresh an absolutely delicious. We took suggestions on the appetizers. They were so amazing with that We said order our entrées for us. Every single plate was absolutely out of this world, including the fresh bread that he said was from New York. Fizsyla was our server and the owner son who treated us like family. I will tell my family and friends about my experience and to go there if you want to have amazing food and be treated like royalty. Thanks to the entire family for amazing service and delicious food!!!!

I am here on behalf of the Natalie Caldwell review she left, she should change her name to Karen Caldwell. Complaining about sitting down at a high end restaurant on a Saturday night during dinner rush, making reservations for 7pm but sitting at 7:10pm, and the staff going out of their way to put a table together for YOU while it’s mobbed. Tell me you were born with a golden spoon in your mouth without telling me. “The food was too salty, too cold, too dry, too chewy, too stiff, too thin” I feel bad for whoever marries you, or if you are married.. you’re so picky and so judgmental, you’re overly high maintenance. I saw her picture of the Caesar salad and I did not see any “brown lettuce” she must be racist. Don’t let these people who sit on their computer and write reviews for a living change your mind coming here! Amazing food, staff and awesome drinks!

5 Star North Italian cuisine! Excellent place to have a nice glass of wine from Andy’s(owner) great collection of wines, excellent quality authentic Italian pasta, fish or veal. I have been to this place twice and this place definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s a family owned place and they will never ask you to leave unlike other restaurant even if it is late night. You will love it!

Enjoyed a scrumptious lunch with Farmily- inspired variety of dishes on the menu, sure to please the palates of all. Soft gentle lighting, hosts & wait staff are professional, respectful & friendly, very knowledgeable. Every bite is a delight to the senses – beautiful, aromatic, various flavors & textures tantalize the tastebuds … I’m drooling as I type this despite my full stomach. Cafe Emilia is fabulous! Can’t wait to return! The Pistachio Tartuffo is glorious!!

So many Italian places are like your run of the meal #1 Chinese restaurants – good for little except a quick, low cost meal of dubious quality. Not this place! Waiters in suits and ties, small intimate dining room, and great food! It started with a complimentary bread (2 types) service with pesto infused olive oil for dipping, lots of great choices for appetizers that I had to unfortunately pass on, and a great dinner with angel hair pasta, shrimp, scallops, and mussels all in good quantity. No skimping here. It restored my faith in quality Italian eateries.
