The BEST restaurant in south lake tahoe. We tried multiple restaurants in town and generally their impressions were good but this Cafe Fiore nailed it. Their filet minon is a must-try, the best steak I’ve had for medium-well. So tender and juicy. I loved their other dishes and desserts. Personally Izabella is better for Garlic bread because their red sauce is so good. But others are better at Cafe Fiore. The servers…what can I tell? They are on top of all things and made our time so luxurious and enjoyable. I realized they left me THREE voice messages on the day of reservation but I guess it’s overkill, even though its needed for they only have limited tables. Other than that, yes I highly highly recommend you try this place. Book in advance!

A very nice and cozy place for a romantic date. The hospitality here was the best I’ve seen. They have great authentic Italian food with a good selection of wines and plenty of vegetarian options. Since they make every dish to order, they allow you to customize everything the way you like.

We spent the evening of our wedding there tonight and could barely wait to post a review! Absolutely adorable and romantic atmosphere. The food was superb and we cant recommend just one thing as it was all unbelievably amazing. But most importantly – the service was impeccable and everyone was so genuine and made our special day perfect. We can not thank Cafe Fiore enough and can’t wait to return (maybe tomorrow)! You could cover your eyes, point at anything on the menu, and be delighted. Cafe Fiore is truly one of the best restaurants around and is unmatched in the quality of its dishes, the atmosphere, and the incredibly personable service and staff. Every part of our time at the cafe was perfect, and the food was sublime. You get what you pay for and more, and I doubt that anyone leaves the cafe feeling less than delighted. It’s a must!

Loved it! Make sure to book early and follow all the instructions on confirming your reservation. Once you realize there’s only 5 tables total, it’s completely understandable why they need to double confirm every reservation.
