Excellent service! Everyone there is hustling to ensure the guests have the best experience. They started us off with fresh bread and garlic butter. We had the lasagna and pizza. Both were excellent, and the portions were on par with the prices. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area

Located on Soco Road in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, this little Italian restaurant offers a variety of pizza, calzone, and pasta dishes. They currently (July 2023) are not serving wine/beer which was a disappointment to us. My husband really enjoyed his calzone with lots of meats, vegetables, and cheeses. It was HUGE-at least 15 inches long. We enjoyed the garlic cheesy bread as an appetizer and the cannoli (3 small ones) for dessert. Rachel and the other staff were kind/friendly and were working hard to take care of all diners. I did NOT enjoy the Seafood Pasta. The shrimp was overcooked/rubbery. The crab was imitation crab but was listed as crab on the menu. There was just a little bit of what I think was supposed to be the lobster. We will eat here again and avoid the seafood pasta.

Love it!!! My friends Brenda and Marie all ordered different pizzas. Brick oven cooked. Highly recommended . All was exceptionally great along with our waitress Rachel. She was very attentive to our needs. A must try place.

Just left here with the hubs and my mom. I must say I highly recommend this place! Beautiful ambience, great food and service. Rick, who brought out our food, was great. Always checked up on us not too much and not too little if we needed anything or how we were doing. We will definitely be coming here in the future next time we visit.

Took my wife there for Mother’s Day, at her request. It was my first time at Cafe Italiano but it won’t be the last. The service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken Parm. and she had the seafood Alfredo. Both portions were big and perfectly prepared. The price is about what you would expect and fair for the quality, service and atmosphere.

I asked for light sauce. The pizza has heavy sauce. The dough tasted like digiorno crust (frozen dough). Definitely not fresh. Inedible. Money completely wasted. It even smells like Digiorno. Pepperoni is low quality. Save your $20 and go to Pizza Hut for better quality. I was appalled.

Calzone was huge and tasted great. Could have used less bread and more filling and don’t serve it on a paper and a board, because the paper gets ripped and in the food! Sauce was amazing! This picture is the half I took home with me.

Often times the good food can be found at the less than conspicuous places. While in Maggie Valley we wanted something other than BBQ so we stopped at Cafe Italiano. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. Large portions and full of flavor.

My husband and I wanted something familiar yet flavorful, and this restaurant was one of our top picks for this vacation weekend… they did not disappoint! Everything that we ordered was delicious and the service was professional. Will return on our next vacation to Cherokee!!!

Tasty Italian restaurant, but be ware! Come here while HUNGRY. Portions are delicious and big. The “breadsticks” are pizza size, even tho just for one, 2 can easily eat, same for pizza.
