Love this little place! We live about an hour from it and attended my sister in laws birthday here. Excellent service, fantastic cocktails at a very reasonable price, & superb food. I plan on traveling again from New Iberia to Morgan City just to eat here.

Martinis special only $5! I believe it runs from Thursday to Friday. It was delicious I had the mango flavor. For dinner I had the ravioli special and it was so warm and flavorful. The sauce drizzled on top was amazing.

This place is nice for the area, good quality food. Their Menu does not change, neither does their desert selection…the Special is always the Seafood Ravioli and the Vegetable of the day is always green beans (out of a can) that are closer to gray than green. Plates are cold, as such your sauce gets cold, the meals get cold. The Service is good, but way too slow, seems they pride themselves on their extended service way too much. Do yourself a favor, and sit at the Bar and order, you will get much better service and you will receive your food in a timely manner. If not plan on a 2-3 hour meal. They nees to change their dinner menu, as it has not changed in over 3 years!! There is a TV near the bar, which seems tacky compared to the class of service they are trying to put on.

Wonderful little restaurant! We(party of 5), had a variety of appetizers and entrees. Our waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable of menu, the appetizers were amazing and the entrees were very large! Atmosphere was pleasant and very comfortable! If I ever come back to Morgan City, I will definitely stop here!

I’d give 5 but nothing is ever perfect. We were in Morgan City over the weekend on the 7th of October to visit our son while he is in training with Oceaneering to be a Jr ROV tech. We arrived much later in the evening on Friday than we intended from Houston as traffic created delays. We arrived around 830pm and we had brought our 2 small dogs with us. There weren’t any restaurants around that had anywhere we could have the dogs with us – most of them were closed and we didn’t want fast food. We finally found Cafe Jojo’s and called to confirm they were open and did they have a patio area where the dogs could come with us. They double checked and management said they did have 1 table outside in a small area outside the main restaurant we could have. We immediately headed there. Once the hostess confirmed the table we were immediately seated and brought fresh warm bread and butter and a drink menu. I ordered the Hurricane Martini and it was OUTSTANDING. My husband always drinks a lot of water and the waitress kept his glass full and brought him a full pitcher to keep it full. That made him extremely happy. We ordered some cheesy bread as an appetizer and while it was good … it really was just the same bread toasted with some butter and mozzarella. My husband ordered the blackened redfish with some sort of cream/wine sauce and my son ordered seafood alfredo with a crab cake. Both of them said the food was delicious and ate every bite. I ordered a ribeye with mashed potatoes. It was good but it wasn’t worth the price for the steak, although it was cooked well. The mashed potatoes needed salt, pepper and butter – they didn’t taste like much. We ordered a pecan turtle cheesecake and a lemon berry ricotta type cake to go. The cheesecake was amazing… the lemon berry cake was dry. All is all I would visit again. Probably not with the dogs as the inside looked very comfortable. We were very thankful they accommodated us, quickly and friendly.

I only experienced the event space upstairs, as I was attending a wedding. It was really quite nice. The staff was really friendly and I really liked most of the food. The fish bites and the meatballs in a marinara type sauce were especially good.

Wow I have rarely had someone be so rude as the lady at Jo Jos was. She changed me $10 more than the only online menu I could find said and when I had the gall to say something she got very rude and argued with me saying the menu price changed 2 yesterday. Also I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes so I got there in 20 minutes. It took almost an hour to finally get our food. She also argued with me about that. Telling me her kitchen was backed up and doing the best they could. That was fine just tell me when I order my food will be done in an hour. I won’t be going back which is sad because there food is great. Just don’t get take out!!
