What’s not to love about this place?! The vibe, the decor, the space, the service, the food—all equally amazing! Our group loved every minute of it and our server (I’m sorry I forgot his name—really nice young guy that’s been working there for about a year) He went above and beyond to make sure loved our meal and our entire vacay brunching experience.

All the drinks and food had a beautiful presentation. It was also delicious. And, they are very accommodating. I wish they offered their brunch menu every day, or that their website schedule and menu for that day or hours were corrected. For such a colorful eclectic place, they need more or brighter lighting.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! The restaurant atmosphere and decor was beautiful. The food was amazing and had so many interesting choices (not just the same stuff u can get anywhere). It was reasonably priced and the service was great. I wish I got a picture of all of our food but I only took one.

It can be tremendously busy, but it is because the food is incredibly delicious. Plan to wait a bit for a table if there are more than two of you. We had five in our party and were seated about 20 minutes after arriving. Our server was adorable and took care of us very well. Parking was a bit hard to locate, but we found a place nearby that was legal. Upon arrival, another customer told me about signing up on the pad outside to get in the queue to be seated. It was raining hard out there, despite the awning coverage, so I didn’t notice the signup pad when I went in to get on the list. There were some great specials offered to us, but I got the Elvis and was NOT disappointed. Unbelievably delicious. My friend tried the special – a quesadilla with pimento cheese. She loved it! If you like to try fresh, interesting food, I highly recommend Cafe Koa. If they had tee shirts for sale, we would have gotten one, as it was such a cool place, the shirt would have been a great reminder. We were all very full and incredibly happy when we left. We did not partake of the specialty coffees or the full bar, but next time!!

I had the “Hendrix” and the waffle fries. The steak in the Hendrix was delicious and way more than I could consume in one meal. The fries were like no other and I had to protect them from my wife’s wandering fork! The waitress took time to explain the specials and was otherwise very pleasant and efficient. Even the chef came out to check as to whether we were satisfied.

Fantastic cauliflower tacos and wonderful rare to the area selection of vegan or vegetarian options! So pleased and enjoyed dining outside! Absolutely delicious unique flavor profiles too of very fresh foods! Something for everyone! Definitely try this unique cafe when in Southport!
