I had a delightful dining experience at Cafe Kottu. The Colombu Street Kothu was reminiscent of the authentic taste I had in India, truly a must-try dish. The Briyani lacked a bit of flavor, but the Dosa was quite good, although it would have been better with more flavorful chutneys. Overall, I highly recommend trying their Kottu—it’s their standout item!

Drove by and spotted this place. Decided to give it a try. It’s Sri Lankan/Indian fusion. Food was very fresh and absolutely delicious. Flavors are amazing and unique. Mysore Dosa was excellent and the chutneys that came with were also great. Chicken 65 Biryani and Fish Fry were awesome. They have great vegetarian options as well.

Cafe Kottu at Katy Location . We tried the Ceylon Veg./ Egg Fried rice and the Colombo Chicken Kottu . Both brought back childhood memories of our favorite dish from back home . Delicious food ! Well presented and courteous service ! Definitely will go back with friends and family to try more of their menu ! They are very busy on Friday nights tho ‘ .

Very special. I ordered twice and had stir fry naan for the first time-very delicious. The shrimp is very fresh and tender. I ordered biryani the second time- It’s fresh but even after adding sauce it doesn’t have much flavor other than spice. It makes it really spicy but nothing other than that.

Let’s start with the butter chicken here it’s really good! Ordered that, the chicken & cheese kottu, and cheese dosa and was all really good. Forgot to get a picture of the others before we dug in but the kids really enjoyed the dosa. Heads up though the mild does have a slight kick nothing crazy but to be expected with Indian good.
