My wife used to work in Albany and we frequented the original cafe on Madison but on a recent drive up to the Adirondacks from points south we stopped here. We loved it. Had a great brunch. Pretty typical breakfast and brunch fair with a little twist here and there. Highly recommend!

First time eating at Cafe Madison and it was worth it all! From the moment we got in the staff was extremely nice and efficient. It was a busy Saturday and the team was working hard and doing their best to make everyone experience beautiful. We sat at the bar, very nice gentlemen took our order and coffee. The food came out in a reasonable team and was very satisfying. Can’t ask for a better breakfast and the oatmeal pancakes were absolutely amazing! The price was very reasonable for breakfast. Can’t beat it overall great place and will be making this a regular place I visit to get breakfast.

The food was okay, our waitress was very nice and the hot chocolate was good. We ordered the Madison plate,two breakfast burgers, and a California chicken. All of the dishes were okay none of them really stood out. The best thing about our visit was the hot chocolate. I would go again but it would not be my first choice.

We arrive for Sunday brunch with friends. They were obviously quite busy. Yet they were able to take our order and serve our food quite quickly. The service itself could use some help, there was a lack of refill of drinks or even taking drink orders. The food itself was solid. I know that if I’m meeting with somebody out of town I can take them here and they’ll be pleased. But it’s not quite good enough for me to go out of my way to go here. This particular location has excellent parking, which helps a lot.

Went to Madison Cafe at their second location for Brunch on a Tuesday morning. We were able to be seated right away and were asked to pick whichever seats we wanted. We chose a booth away from the windows, while the temperature was fine for me my S.O. felt cold. We decided to stay in the booth for privacy. I decided on a Chai Coffee w/ Almond Milk and my S.O. got the Simon Says AM Cocktail. The coffee was delicious, however, the cocktail was way too sweet. We decided on the Oatmeal Pancakes and tried three different flavors (the raspberry, the banana, and the apple and walnuts). The pancakes did not disappoint!!!! Delicious! We also had the Bayou Omelette with home fries and they were amazing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She checked on us enough but did not feel like a bother. It’s always a pleasant time at Madison Cafe in Loudon Plaza.

Its is quite clear why that lovely cafe is a very popular location. The service is very good. The servers made sure my needs were met and i saw them offer alternatives to people who were not sure. The speed in which food comes out is relatively fast. I ordered their ultimate blt. And every component of the sandwich was done just right that left me absolutely satisfied. The coffee didn’t feel too burnt. I would definitely go back again if I’m ever in the albany/north albany region again
