After 11 years living in SoFL, it was my First time at Martoranos this weekend – celebrating my birthday with family. We should have eaten here years ago. I’ve made resys here before but always had to cancel plans.

Top notch Italian dining experience at Cafe Martorano in Fort Lauderdale. I loved the ambiance, all the servers dresses to the T, and Steve Matorano in the kitchen with his staff. I started a glass of wine and brought over super crispy bread with a spicy oil to dip. For my entree, I had the Fusilli and Meatball. Was completely stuffed, but I had to get a canolli to go!

if i could give them 6 stars i would. from the moment i was greeted, to the moment i paid the bill, i experienced nothing but impeccable food and service. being in the business myself for more than half of my life… i know that it is extremely hard to go out and truly enjoy experiences these days after what covid did to the restaurant business- i cook for myself at least 28 days a month, the few times i do go out nowadays, it’s nothing but hiccups- but Martorano’s pleased me and my girlfriend from start to finish. superb job from our server G, phenomenal with explaining the food menu in detail to us, and even better job explaining the dinner specials (we ordered mostly dinner specials)

Came today while on vacation and could not ask for anything better. When arriving we were greeted by the owners wife who was so so sweet! We then we’re served the best of the best hospitality by Corey.. the food was to die for and worth every penny. We started with the meatball salad … then got chicken parm and the special seafood linguini on todays specials! Espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had, and the dessert was the real cherry on top as the waffle melted in your mouth! Amazing job on food , dessert and drinks! I will definitely be back and hope Corey will be there again for the great service ! Will come back from Jersey just for this place !!!! Can’t wait to be back cuzzzzzz

Always save your receipts as this restaurant lied and said I never showed up for 6:45 PM dinner reservation in an attempt to collect $25 (reported me to open table). The waiter Tommy P was so rude in the process of me asking a question that we had to leave without ordering food. It was a simple yes or no, but he is super impatient. I promptly asked for a check after we exchanged a noun and tipped him 23% on our water. Our table neighbors even commented on how rude he is and that the owner was out of town. Well, this is not the person you want sinking your ship when there’s Italian restaurants every block in Broward County. Beware.

Simply put, Steve Martorano is THE BEST Italian-American restaurateur in South Florida!! For 20+ years, he has consistently served up the absolute best food that your Nonna would be jealous of. He’s outlasted Macaluso’s & Randazzo’s & is still the king of the meatball down here.

Whole curly piece of hair in my pasta. And the bill didn’t show any signs of remorse. Bad service as well. Dont yell at me owner guy. Not cool. Chicken parm was good drinks were good.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Florida … the owners, the staff, the ambience … service was impeccable, food is outrageously delicious… every appetizer … fresh mozzarella, the pepperoni pizza, the meatballs, the calamari, every entree … the Chilean sea bass, fusilli with meatballs… party of 7 and each of us loved everything we tasted. It’s that good! Good drinks, nice selection of wines and the desserts …

Stay Away! Ive been fortunate to dine all over the world and have never taken time to write a negative review until now. Worst dining experience to date. Extremely rushed and we were told when ordering appetizers that we could not and had to order everything at once. They said that we had a strict 1:30 time limit to eat. Main courses arrived while appetizers were not even finished .Never even got to order desserts as our “time limit” was reached, we were brought the check and told to finish our drinks at the bar. The food was good but no better than any other stripmall Italian place, which this is. . A positive is that after a visit here, you will always appreciate the good service that most other restaurants provide.
