Taste, ambience, and value—everything was well-considered. It came through clear as day how much passion and (deserved!) conviction the folks here have. We polished our plates. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I’ve been coming to Cafe Mutton all the way from NYC since 2021. It’s been AMAZING every single time. The don’t serve your typical breakfast items such as breakfast sandwiches, but everything on the menu is so good! Strongly recommend their orange muffin, house soda, chicken porridge, and crepes. Their special items are usually very good too!

5 stars across the board. Will definitely be dreaming about the crepes; maple-y, sweet and buttery with salty little flavor crystals that pop in your mouth, a must.

A couple of down to earth people cooking some unique and delicious food. The rice porridge is a favorite. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch.

After hearing so much buzz about this local spot I knew I had to come check it out. I was extremely disappointed to learn that 100% of their menu consists of cheetos. For a place that prides itself on its local and seasonal menus “disappointed” is an understatement. A quick look in the trash revealed that these cheetos were bought at a shoprite or possibly even a stewarts given the size of the bags. The least I would expect from a critically acclaimed establishment would be to use locally grown corn. Don’t waste your time and skip this one.

Made a special trip out to Hudson to try Cafe Mutton because we had heard so many great things and it did not disappoint! The food was satisfying and beautiful and seasonal and the cafe itself was so inviting we stayed all afternoon! The women running the show here really know what they’re doing. Can’t wait to make it back.

We had the bologna sandwich for the table, then soft eggs w mushrooms, crepes, and the congee. Also buckwheat scone with homemade jam. And a small salad. All excellent but the bologna sandwich, the salad dressing, and the eggs were astounding. What a find. Worth an hour drive for sure.

We came here on a Friday evening, and the tables were full. After waiting quite a while, we realized that we didn’t have much time for in-restaurant dining because of a pre-planned engagement. The staff quickly converted our order for takeaway. We got our food quickly, and we were able to enjoy it on the go. Food was fantastic and the team was super accommodating about our tight schedule. Five stars!
