God awful take out experience, they bagged our food incorrectly and while in the car scolding hot chicken tikka burnt my partners leg, at the bottom of the bag it was all seeping out and the hot liquids were tearing the bottom of the bag, such a disaster to bring back to the restaurant! Food is pretty good but service was awful I can appreciate they gave us a refund and made the food again but next time don’t use such a small paper bag and condense all the food in it they had ZERO COMMON SENSE. Funny how they gave me a bigger paper bag with a handle the second time and there was no problem.

Food was really bad. Gobi 65 didn’t look right, wasn’t fried properly have the right flavors, had a gravy! Please google what a gobi 65 dish should look like.

I have been coming here weekly for years, and have always experienced friendly, attentive service, and wonderful Indian food. I like spicy dishes so go-tos have been the Mulligatawny Soup as a starter, and the Vindaloo, Curry, and Biryani dishes –with generally either chicken or lamb — for my main course. I have also tried a couple of their vegetarian dishes, Aloo Chole and Aloo Baingain, which were also cooked to my spicy standards! Further, they accomplish a feat I see in too-few restaurants these days: time the arrival of your entree to coincide with exactly when you’re ready for it, and the food is always hot! It goes without saying here that I always eat at the restaurant, to enjoy the full ambiance. This is an absolute gem in the heart of Maynard; you have to check it out!

Great local Indian restaurant. Always quick service. Staff is very attentive. Lunch buffet is great to try Indian for the first time. I’ve been coming here for several years and I’m never disappointed. Also great for take away.

Truly enjoyed this establishment Nice quaint atmosphere with delicious food Love that there are a few things on the menu not typically offered and if requested their level of spiciness can be increased which I truly enjoy. I could say this is one of the better Indian food spots that I have visited in terms of food quality and taste

Not one to write many reviews but wow. Was this awful. Samosas with raw dough. Tough naan chicken vindaloo that was some unnatural orange/reddish color. Just appallingly bad.

Mixing rice with boiled chicken in a pan with some spices is not called Biryani. Chicken was tasteless, rice was unflavorful , onions and tomatoes were half cooked(see the picture), raita was too sweet, sweet riata with Biryani seriously ? I can go on . If you don’t know what a Biryani is , stop selling it. You should not even call it Biryani.
