My favorite place for authentic food made with real ingredients (not bag junk from Sysco or Nicholas like majority of restaurants in SLC). The atmosphere is great for when I am missing past days in Europe. I love to immerse myself in the rich diversity of this family owned cafe.

We shared a Balkan Platter and drank a Croatian soda called Cockta. The meats were delicious. My favorite was the Pljeskavica. It was so tender and full of flavor. The Cockta tasted similar to sarsaparilla, which I like. It was clean and they have flat screens above the back counter that displayed all of their dishes so if you weren’t sure what to order you could see what is offered. I’ll go back for breakfast sometime. We were too full to try desert.

The takeout service was okay; like it was too much effort for the owners/employees to be friendly.
