A delightful experience, it was charming, the food was excellent and if you are into beautiful artwork, this is your kind of place. I have never felt more welcomed at an establishment and lunch in the garden was so much fun. The flowers in the garden were so beautiful, and the world’s largest pet rabbit was worthy of a picture too!

Such a cool place! Great for kids, weddings, and romantic and group meals. Bunnies! A secret forest walking trail! Gifts galore for purchase. Great deserts, entrees and sandwiches, soups and salads. Great service. Good value. My family and I had an excellent time here and didn’t want to leave this gorgeous, sacred place! A must visit if you’re up on volcano. Friendly staff. Clean and accommodating.

This is truly a GEM of a location. Not just a good lunch but ART EVERYWHERE and so many plants! I actually enjoyed it more than most botanical gardens. It was a perfect lunch spot for our toddlers to run around while we ate in the garden. Then we got to enjoy the walking path through their jungle/yard. The owners were so nice and attentive too. Truly a special experience.

A true gem! Do not miss eating here if you’re in Volcano. We loved the quiche, the curry special and all the fixings (soup AND salad) as well as the vegan carrot cake. Everything was fresh and so delicious and checking out Ira’s gallery and gardens were so special. Even in the rain!

First time to Hawaii, this place was exactly what we were looking for before hiking the volcano. Food portioned correctly and absolutely delicious.

We stopped by on our way to the Volcanos National Park to grab something to eat. It turned out to be a great place to eat with a beautiful garden to enjoy. The food was excellent. We had the daily menu: Miso soup, burritos with salad, and a brownie.

What a magical jewel in Volcano! A combination of art gallery, a wonderful vegetarian restaurant with garden seating, and beautiful grounds to wander through with artful touches scattered throughout. Check out the secret garden through the back gate, try a fresh panini or dessert, and buy a locally crafted work of art on your way out. Loved it all!
