I discovered this restaurant in December of 2022 and have visited plenty of times since, most recent visit being yesterday. I absolutely love the Turkish coffee and chicken shawarma bowl, and their hummus is delightful! I plan to try the cheese steak sandwich next visit!

First time trying Mediterranean food and it was soooo good!!! I had the baba ghanoush and cheese curds for appetizers. That baba ghanoush had such a great flavor and with that fresh pita. For our dishes we had the beef shawarma and the flavors were great, and we also had the falafel.The owner greeted and chatted with all the customers, great experience.

I’m glad I don’t live in Dalton because I would spend all my money here. The food is great, the employee’s are helpful (especially to new customers who don’t know what to get (me)) and there are a few games to play while you wait! Did I mention the food is great? Go eat at Cafe Ostro, You won’t regret it!

My husband and I came here for lunch and were so surprised to find this. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The portion sizes for lunch were great and filling for the price. I tried the Beef Shawarma bowl which comes with the basmati rice and salad which was so delicious and my husband tried the Beef Shawarma wrap. The wrap comes with different sides and my husband chose the hummus. All fresh food and ingredients. Both so filling and cooked perfectly to make the meat tender. We also tried the eclair and pistachio baklava which are not pictured. Great options for dessert if you have a sweet tooth! If you’re new to the area or are stopping by town and are looking for cultural flavors Cafe Ostro is our #1 recommendation. Check this place out.

When I walked in all the staff was very welcoming! Ive been to cafe Ostro a couple times, this time I got the chicken shawarma warp with spicy hummus, everything is so fresh. It’s to die for their always outstanding 100% recommended. Supper nice local restaurant. Keep up the hard work .

We decided to give this place a try. It’s located in Dalton Georgia, downtown. Definitely serves a Mediterranean style food. It was different from the norm we typically have. But, it was delicious nonetheless. The price was comparable to what you’d expect Mediterranean food to cost. The place was clean, service was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you’ve never had Mediterranean food, I would definitely give this restaurant a go.

We had several items. The cheese curds taste so much better then cheese sticks. The homemade hummus was awesome. I had the chicken wrap, and my husband had the beef plate. I don’t remember the exact name of the dishes, but both were delicious! Topped it off with dessert. Had to bring food back home though, it was alot of food! Great service, friendly people. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place!

The food here was pretty good. The hummus and falafel wasn’t bad but not great, but I might be biased as I’m middle eastern from Chicago where we have some of the best Mediterranean food. The lamb was tender and flavorful and the chicken was soft and went very well with the sauce. Biggest complaint was the portion size was pretty small for the price. I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Dalton
