Great location, close enough to the highway and plenty of street parking. We ordered the savory crepes as well as the variety of pierogis, and the beef was the absolute best I’ve ever eaten. We also ordered the Borscht and a strawberry shake, which were both delicious. There were many other delicious menu items I’d like to try when traveling through in the future. If you’re into trying new foods, this is definitely a must. The wife and husband make everything from scratch, and the lady is so sweet and helpful!

I’ve had the pleasure of both eating at Cafe Poland as a customer, and working at Cafe Poland as a kitchener, and I can say with confidence that it is one of the best restaurant experiences in Columbia. The attention to freshness, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction is evident in both the food and the mood in the cafe. The owner Iwotta and her son Robert are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and Iwotta especially loves to have easygoing conversations with everyone that drops in. She makes sure no one leaves hungry, and always manages to make you feel better than you were when you stepped through her door. If you’re looking for a slice of home, some espresso to pick yourself up, or just some damn good Polish food, the one and only Cafe Poland is the place you want to be.

This is a sweet hole in the wall place with amazing food. She has three small tables and a bathroom but no changing tables. We didn’t notice any booster seats or high chairs but maybe we missed them. She was sooo kind and served us amazing food. I would have loved to try one of everything. We will come again next time we are in the area for sure.

My son and I had dined here years ago, and he remembered it so fondly he begged to go back while we were visiting his grandparents. We made a trip out and he fainted in the restaurant, and the owner was so kind and attentive and made sure to package up all our food while we rushed to get a car, helping him get cooled down and even coming out to the car to say something very sweet and thank him for coming out. The food is amazing, which is a given, but the people who run this place are kind and generous too. A spot we will definitely return to the next time we are visiting family, and will recommend to anyone and everyone. Places and people like this are hard to come by.

This little place is the real deal, there was this sweet little lady that was making all the food herself as well as working the front of the house. We were told on entering that she was alone and that it would take a little time but it really didn’t. There is a patio that you can eat on, seating inside and a window that you can pick up food at. There is a great selection of beers, the menu is simple and has something for everything. We started with the pierogi’s which were made by hand and very delicious. My wife got the gulash which she enjoyed, super simple but flavorful. I got the grilled polish sausage with the kraut and potato salad. Even though we were stuffed we got crepe’s, one with the nutella and one with berries. I can honestly say that if I lived closer I would be eating here on a regular basis.

Small place. The food was good. The pierogies are very good. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and only able to get the cheese and or beef pierogies. Both were good.
