Great Mexican food concept. The portions are great, everything seemed fresh. I had the shredded beef salad bowl and I couldn’t finish it. The process of ordering is very easy and it is self service based. Their lemonade has a unique taste to it. Overall great experience, one of my favourite Mexican food places so far!

I order from this location often, but decided to go inside this time. The meat, sauces and beans were all crusted over and looked old. I ordered pork salad and there was hardly any pork in the tin. The employee loaded up the “pork” which was 90% sauce and no meat. When asked if there was meat in there she gave the excuse that it was shredded so finely….really sad to see such poor customer service and lack of awareness around cleanliness/health regulations. I chose to leave without purchasing.

This was seriously our last attempt at cafe rio. It was so bad! All the locations in slc are just awful food now. We are done trying to like this place. The quality is awful. Everything is soggy and thrown together. Cafe rio never again!!

My family ordered a pick up and what a task that was. They couldn’t process the order because there system was “having issues!” My daughter was at the establishment picking up our order and they messed that up! The food makes it to our house finally and it was just a huge let down! Edible yes but the tortilla was cold and the meat……what meat, what a joke! I should have just looked at the reviews from this particular Location but I guess I was just hopeful. I will never order from this Murray location again. Reviews are there for a reason but I neglected that. Hopefully this will help others learn from my mistake!

15 dollars for dried grilled chicken, burnt tortilla, enchilada style (which I specifically asked them not to) burrito. Also paid for a 4oz dressing. Excuse me.. only paid for the dressing cause it didn’t come in the bag.

Got lectured for getting 10 tacos for my family through the drive thru. Cause it was “such a large order” and “that I need to come inside next time because it’s inconvenient”. I didn’t know going to a drive thru cafe rio, and ordering food for my family, would be such a huge hassle. Still, some of my order was left out. I still had to go inside anyway because it wasn’t even checked before being handed to me. The lady taking orders was angry and not happy to help. Why bother with a drive thru if this is the service you give? Am I supposed to memorize every policy on ordering some tacos? I’ll just stick with the fort union location. They’ve never treated us this way.
