Currently they has Taco Tuesdays where tacos are only $2.49. They are big and delicious. Two gets me full. You can add rice and beans and a drink too for a little extra.

Online order – completely wrong!!! The order was clear and there were items on the salads that were not ordered! This is an allergy issue – one salad was hardly eatable. No care given whatsoever in preparing the food that was ordered online. Total waste of $! EDIT: The response was received and appreciated – however, I had a poor experience there a few years back and was convinced to try again. The food and service was bad again. Even if food was free, I am not going back to this establishment. I was not asking for anything free – and sometimes even free is not worth it. Again, response is appreciated, but free does not turn poor quality into something good.

The Birria taco was not that great. Also had chips & queso which were good. Not my choice in restaurant only been a few times. Service was okay. One friendly person, when there were maybe 5 people working.

We come here often and we usually have good experience. We usually come in a little late night so they are not as busy. We love the sweet pork burrito, enchalada style with extra cheese, and their horchata. My little one loves their salad. The last time we came here, one of the staff was very and very helpful. 1 less star for the lady in the line that prepares the food initially, not very friendly and seemed irritated when we asked her if we could get extra meat. Overall, we’ll be back since it was a good day ❤.

The Cafe Rio on St. Rose Parkway, I think, is better. The one on Blue Diamond lacked bottled hot sauce by the drinks, and I snapped 3 knives while trying to cut a burrito. Still, the food was good, as was the service.

Oh my. This place took forever for us to order. You stand in line and order your food as they make it. But OH MY!! it was so worth the wait. Handmade tortillas.. yummy. The flavors were on point. And the chips and salsa was delicious as well.. very good. Will be going back.

I just love Cafe Rio. Their sweet pork barbacoa burrito is the best! I went there with the whole family. My wife ordered a salad, which is big. My oldest daughter ordered the nachos, my son order a chicken burrito, and my youngest daughter a kid’s cheese quesadilla. Everybody was pleased with their choices.

I ordered meals for the family and I saw the new beef birria taco. I only ordered one just to try. The lady (name Namibia) in the register asked me if I want rice and beans after looking at my taco and said “it comes with it” so, I said sure. I didn’t realize after paying till I got home that I was charged for the whole meal of 2 tacos. I called and explained but the response was ” with rice and beans that is the price”. I told her that was offered to me and it goes with it, if that’s the case I could have gotten another taco for the same price. It was never offered for another taco nor some credit for the mistake. Service is really going down at this place. Not crazy about the beef birria.

Always busy so the lines often long but the food is worth it so I can’t complain. Just be aware if you’re in a rush this might not be a great place to stop if there’s a line.
