The cleanliness of this restaurant is horrible. All the food behind the glass looks old and is all uncovered. There was white slime on the beverage machines, food all over the floor and flies. There was barely any customers in line and about 6 people staffed. The guy serving the food was nice but complained about being understaffed to customer which was odd. The manager walked to the trash can to empty it with another employee and then they both walked away. I don’t think anyone cleans. I gagged looking at the soda machine. I used to love cafe rio and the food was great but the conditions here and quality of service is deplorable.

This Cafe Rio is one of the best—and we have eaten at many locations, from Utah to SoCal. The staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent customer service. If you ask for an extra dressing or tortilla strips for your salad or burrito, no problem! Other locations’ employees will nickel and dime you, but not here. The portions and smiles are big. I highly recommend this location.

This was one of the first restaurants I tried since moving to California. Cafe Rio was spoken highly of by a friend of mine. The menu was diverse while offering many customizable options regarding toppings, sides, etc. Additionally, prices were suitable for the portion sizes. The staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future!

This is my guilty pleasure. I love the food here. It’s not high end, more like a Chipotle style, but way better flavors in my opinion. Whenever I’m craving something delicious, I always want to come here. Unfortunately many people agree with me and it’s always busy, but they move pretty quick for only one person usually doing the orders. Worth the small wait for me.

The tacos and chicken quesadilla are yummy. I love the way you order your food to your liking adding what you want and you can ask for extra toppings without getting charged. I always ask for lots of pico de gallo and lettuce. I like getting your own drinks at the soda machine also. Great fresh food, I love this restaurant.

I don’t think they care about their food and training in food service. The salsa was hot and gross.. they didn’t pay attention to what I asked for or ignored me. Apparently others have gotten sick here before. 10$ for poorly made food. Go to the alamo instead.

First time visit, tacos had so much meat I was full after one, but enjoyed every bite. Husband had the tostada also good! Everything fresh and still hot when we got it home. Staff was not smiling or that friendly, but we were in and out, I’m not trying to make new friends.
