What a wonderful surprise find for us. While this was not our first visit to Kauai, it was the first time we visited this terrific food truck. Cafe Turmeric is nestled among a few other food trucks. They have a nice variety in their menu, which they cook to order (mild to spicy). They have their own tables/seating with umbrellas and a very friendly staff.

My husband and I found this café while driving to Hanalei Bay! We love curry but had not tried a fish curry yet. The Ono Fish Curry was absolutely delicious and everything was made to order. The Naan bread was hot and crispy! Some of the best yellow curry we have ever had. Will definitely be returning before the end of our trip!

Hands down, one of the best curries I have ever eaten! Flavour was phenomenal. I had the coconut veggie curry (mild) and my husband had the shrimp curry (medium) and we both loved it. Vegan and gluten free options. Fantastic customer service as well. We will visit again when we are back on Kauai in March, Mahalo!

A indian food truck with limited options.. but the food is amazing!! Perfect spice levels.. We had Dal, Fish and Shrimp curry and Some rotis which was super soft.. The rotis were pretty small though.. fortunately they gave basmtic rice for the curries which was sufficient for the 5 of us.. Packed very well with a tray board which was easy to carry. They have bench seating outside.. and many more food trucks in that area!! Quick Service.. As usual indian food is expensive in hawai !! The only drawbak is that we wont know when this place is open or closed!! Its onto the discretion of the chef and owner… So don’t go via google.. they don’t pick up the phone properly.

What a great place, the food was fresh and piping hot when it was served. Wonderful flavors, I had the coconut veggie curry. I enjoyed tasting the Dal and medium spicy is not too bad at all. The Nan was also served hot and went so well with the dishes. The staff was wonderfully polite and friendly. I will enjoy returning here, bon appetit.

WOW! What an incredibly delicious place! My husband and I are vegan and decided to visit this restaurant as the first one on our vacation – honestly we both could eat here for the next 7 days, if they weren’t closed for Thursday and Friday! AND NONE OF US IS EVEN A TYPICAL INDIAN FOOD LOVER! They have a bunch of AMAZING vegan options. If you’re vegan like us (or not!) and looking up the food spots for your stay on the island – trust the reviews, the rating and RUN to check this place out ASAP! Service was extremely friendly as well! Can’t wait to be back!
