Everything is delicious at Caffe Boa! I had the lasagna it was perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. I’m definitely going to come back and try more of the dishes. I saw they serve rabbit and I’m intrigued. I recommend you stop by and try the food. It’s a perfect date night spot.

We always love coming here. There are so many well designed menu items and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. You never feel rushed here and can just go on chill mode and enjoy. The menu offers some deliciously complex offerings and there’s a huge list of wines or beer to enjoy. Our dogs have always been welcomed on the patio too. I am going to make a point of coming here more often because the menu changes and this place is simply a long standing gem in Tempe. Thank you for making such a welcoming, delicious and special place for the community!

The restaurant itself is very cute and we were excited to try the “authentic” Italian foods. I was surprised at the cost of items compared to the quality of the food. The food itself was less than mediocre and definitely not authentic Italian. What we received LOOKED good, but taste and texture were lacking. We were disappointed in all three meals and the appetizer our table ordered. The lemon and cucumbers in our drinks were dried out and visibly old. I am hoping we just caught them on an off day or at an off time, because there are so many 5 star reviews that make no sense based on our experience. Server was very slow and inattentive to refills unless asked (we were the only customers there at the time) but she was kind and pleasant. I’m sorry to say, but it’s definitely not worth the money.

I agree for the price I am expecting a little more from Caffe boa. Also, I agree with other comments that they don’t give the same quality or quantity of food for take out orders. The portion size of the takeout “Lucas meatballs with spaghetti” can feed a child at best. This is over $20 with tax. I’ve had the same issue with other pasta dishes ordered as takeout.

If you are in the area and looking to have a pleasant dinning experience, you have come to the right spot. We were greeted by Shay (so hope I spelt her name right), she made us felt welcome and was very accommodating. Food was lovely and Rachel was also attentive to our needs and requests. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Parking is shared, since there are plenty of other venues in the area, so plan in advance. X1.

I have been here since the old restaurant almost at the corner of university and mill back in 2001. The food is still delicious even though they expanded to a really big place. The staff are nice and very attentive. My go to dishes are shrimp Adriatico, voodoo penne, Agnolotti boa. Can’t go wrong with these 3 dishes. Will always return here when I get a chance.

Hadn’t been to the Mill Location in years ( at least not since they moved to the new bigger space on Mill itself). It is a great location and also perfect if you want to do dinner before a show at gammage. They do take reservations. Their service from the hostess to our server Megan was just phenomenal. The food was also yummy. They also have a gluten free pasta that was delish. They also had a special for every two people headed to the show you get a free dessert .. Would highly recommend them. Great little gem in the heart of Tempe. The owners are from Croatia and they have lots of touches of that. Loved the lil rosemary sprigs in our napkins
