I came here on a Thursday afternoon. Shortly after 2pm. I’ve been wanting to visit for some time.

Nice no frills place next to 7-11 serving Egyptian food. I ordered the beef kabob and hawawshi. Both were seasoned well and tasty. Definitely recommend.

The chicken and beef cabobs were so good! The saffron rice was great too. I think they had a Kafta (on the left) on the plate which was also excellent. I will definitely be back. The man that took my order came out to see if I liked it. You can tell he genuinely cared. I can’t wait to try something else.

The falafel is excellent!!!! My dining companion has lived in the Middle East and said the falafel was moist, flavorful and rich. He also had the fish which is a whole fish tilapia possibly. It was seasoned well and tasty. Be careful of bones of course.

The food was very good and it is decently priced. Everything seemed fresh and good portions. I recommend the falafel and the kofta beef. Will definitely be back!

Seriously delicious food! The chicken quesadilla and tacos are amazing. It’s an unassuming place but certainly a great addition to Camp Bowie. It’s also halal which is a huge plus in Fort Worth that doesn’t have a lot of these options.

We had falafel plate and fish dinner and a side of hummus. Fish was spiced very nicely and fried just right. Hummus was light with right balance of texture and spice have come to expect and compares very well with what have eaten past ten years living in middle east. Hosts were very cool and presentation of the food and cleanliness of the place reflect high standards. We will be going back.

This is some of the best kabobs and gyros in Fort Worth! My husband and I have been eager to try Cairo Mex since they moved in to the neighborhood, and we finally gave it a go. It absolutely did not disappoint! Kind service and delicious food!

Actually I was expecting Mexican food but it was more of a Mediterranean Mexican food. The price was a little high for the small portions, definitely a different taste. Did not have the kabobs but they look really good . He said there was a buffet on Thursday but again the price was high around $16 some change. PS the peppers will kill you.
