We came for a graduation celebration. And they had an area set up just for huge parties like ours. I like that we can all be in one room. The place is beautifully decorated and was very clean. This place is definitely good for huge parties.

I recently attended a family dinner here and enjoyed every minute of it. The fried alligator was the right amount of spice and crunch. Perfect with each bite. The fried mushrooms were also good. (Who doesn’t like fried mushrooms?!). My favorite item to order was the roast pork bun. They were light, flavorful, and filling. So delicious I had to order some to go. The catfish basket was good and breaded just right. I was satisfied with the food portion of the grilled shrimp plate. The shrimp and spicy garlic sauce together is a win in my book.

Our meal consisted of appetizers were stuffed jalapeno cream cheese, wontons, fried alligator, fried shrimp. We had the weekend special, and a lb. of snow crab and a catfish basket. My daughter has a Moscow mule. Everything was hot and delicious. Our waitress kept our cups full of drinks, she continued to check on us. The restaurant was clean, the environment was nice.

I actually liked most of the cuisine it gives me a more asian taste than actual cajun but its not bad. The crawfish were bland but that could possibly change depending on the cook and the link of time in the boil. Overall I would visit again for the fried foods and a few boiled shrimp! P.s. the fried gator is GOOD!

It’s a nice place, well decorated and many custom touches. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. They have a good looking and well stocked bar. The food is made in house and is well seasoned. I had a combo fried catfish and chicken basket with Cajun seasoned fries. The food was good but there is better to be had in town. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t eat here again, I would. In my opinion, Cajun Bay has the nicer restaurant but not the best food.

This is not the first time I ordered from this place. I must have ordered over a dozen time since they opened in Forney. The other times were decent. But tonight, it’s horrible. It was advertise as live crawfish but it doesn’t taste like it. I was so excited for this since I haven’t had crawfish in week, but it is disappointed. Almost every crawfish is mushy and have a weird smell to it. I threw most if them away or spit it out because the meat just melts in your mouth like baby food. I couldn’t finish the rest so I called and spoke to the manager. He said if I want a full refund I would need to bring the food back either tonight or tomorrow. What? So he can taste it? If I have time I would and ask him to try it in front if me. He said if i don’t bring it back I’ll just get half refund or a free pound of crawfish.

The service was impeccable. We decided to eat here. I was craving fresh seafood with the right seasoning. Considering, I’m picky be default with food, it didn’t disappoint!!! We enjoyed everything and was perfect. We plan on coming again and trying other items. Oh, drinks are on point as well.
