Everyone was so nice, I wanted to love this place. Got the sample platter: shrimp was well seasoned and cooked great! Soft shell crab was mushy and pasty. Gator was so tough you couldn’t chew it. I’ve had gator so many times, have never had gator that rubbery before. The house made side sauces were phenomenal though. There’s potential there, just maybe stick to the shrimp and skip the gator & crab.

The bayou burgers r so juicy and have a ton of flavor best burger I’ve had in a long time. Also the potato salad is so good and their cajun sauce fabulous The staff is very friendly. They have alot of option for people who dont like seafood as well. I would highly recommend u try this place out.

We were so disappointed in this. Our “shrimp boil” was basically cocktail shrimp boiled with ZERO seasoning. The potatoes and corn weren’t cooked with the boil either. One of us had a burger and even that had no seasoning (like, not even salt and pepper) For 4 of us to spend over $100 (yes I paid) was ridiculous. The ONLY thing that we ordered that had any Cajun seasoning to it, was the bought frozen and deep fried cowboy bites. How do you have a Cajun restaurant and have no seasoning? Voted Best Cajun restaurant for St Joe in 2023? Um how? Never again. Wasn’t busy, so it wasn’t like the cook got overwhelmed. I’m sorry, but no.
