This restaurant is a gem! I had been eyeing it while I was in Kona and when I finally crossed to Pahoa, I was eagerly waiting for opening time. I had a wonderful dinner on Friday (gumbo, collard greens and a Thai basil margarita) and the food and drinks were so spectacular, I came back the next day for bunch! The space is super cute, with great music and lovely decor. The staff (owners/chefs, bartender) put their heart into what they do, and the result is an amazing culinary experience, that for me was the best on the big island.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The gumbo was perfect, and I highly recommend the black chai tea. The setting reminded us of Disneyland’s Blue Bayou restaurant, but with much better food. There are only 5 tables in order to make this a very special and intimate experience. Don’t pass this one up, is worth the experience!

Great food withlots of options, attentive and friendly service ( the chef came to our table and He was very cool) Amazing botanical beverages in a comfortable garden setting. food was amazing service was great i grew up on louisiana food and can say this was just as good as my mothers cooking for real ! everything at the bar is alcohol free so if you’re looking for a drink as well not a good move maybe outside seating was very cute the place is still rough around the edges which i didn’t mind but i definitely will come back again
