Purple On Three
Our first visit! Absolutely amazing! There were three in our party and all of us had delicious meals. Appetizers we devoured were fried green tomatoes and Mac and cheese with gator sausage. Absolutely delicious! We also had crab cakes, fried okra, lightly blackened shrimp, hush puppies, flounder and garlic red potatoes. All delicious! Our server, Taylor, was outstanding! Will definitely return!

At our stop in crystal river we decided to eat dinner in this restaurant. A lot of people were waiting to be seated so we draw our place in the line. We sat outside and talked till we got seated.

Tried this restaurant yesterday for lunch on a recommendation from the Fun2Dive staff. This was our first visit to the area…it really is a step back in time to old Florida. A real gem. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to us throughout the meal. The food was very good. The resturant has a fun, casual vibe and the prices reasonable. Overall, we would recommend this place if you are looking for good seafood.

First time here. Usually this place is packed but we got right in. The food was delicious. I got a burger and my husband got a fried chicken sandwich and they were both amazing. The portions are big, so you def get your monies worth. We also got the crawfish and gator Mac n cheese and it was hands down the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. You def have to stop in here if you’ve never been!

Went here as a recommendation from our tour guides at Fun2Dive! It was some of the yummiest Cajun food I have ever had, topping some of the food I’ve had in New Orleans! Luckily we had a big group and so we were all able to try a little bit of everything. We started with the fried alligator, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, and alligator mac and cheese. All incredible. For my main dish, I had the gumbo and it was to die for!!! The hush puppies were the perfect consistency and not dry like other ones I’ve had. My husband got the Mahi Mahi and it just fell apart in your mouth it was so amazing. And the spices on it were absolutely perfect. Other dishes our party got were the catfish etoufee, shrimp po boy, the steak, catfish Louisiana, and the stuffed shrimp. Everything was absolutely incredible. Some other sides we got were fried okra and jambalaya. It was more food than we knew what to do with but everything reheated well as leftovers! Also the staff was so friendly and we had an amazing waitress!

Excellent place to eat! After swimming with the manatees at River Ventures, we went across the road to eat. This place was very busy but we will worth the wait! The owner is SO nice and very personable. You can tell he genuinely cares that the customer has the best experience. The food was excellent (grouper and shrimp po boy). Would definitely return again if visiting the area!

WOW! A must visit for countless reasons! Don’t let the location or wait deter you, this place rocks. The mixed drinks (Pillar Punch & Pillar Painkiller) were not only delicious but strong. We had the Gumbo, Crawfish Mac & Cheese, and the Crawfish PO Boy overflowing with . The food could easily beat out most restaurants in Louisiana. Even the collar greens were amazing. Jimmy (the owner) went table to table giving our kids a taste of his magic and petting his pet crawfish. We talked about this meal the rest of our trip and can’t wait to go back.

As soon as you enter this cozy café, you get the feel of Mardi Gra and the aromatic flavors of New Orleans. The warm southern hospitality followed.
