I ordered the two fish nine shrimp platter and must say it was more food than expected. Very filling and delicious. Bring an appetite, you’ll need it, and the continuous flow of customers will show it’s a popular location. The owner even just expanded the parking a little too accommodate the amount of traffic the comes in. I’ll definitely be remembering this place for future travels to the area.

I’ve actually frequented this place since my return in 2009 and since then I’ve been served up fresh. It’s really a hidden gem. Everything is made to order. Have some patience for the freshness. I shouldn’t cheat but I cheat with the pig feet I’m slobbering as I type this. Don’t worry about the drinkers under the tree I call them the lot watchers just don’t be Bougie be about FRESH. I’m hella picky, so I wouldn’t send u out there wasting your money…..Get you a large combo rice start off slow, but just know it’s worth the wait. Sometimes I’ll order and eat it the next day because I know it’s fresh. ❤️❤️

Checked this place out while in the 9th Ward after passing by it. Looked at the reviews and gave it a shot. Had the Shrimp Po Boy, it was okay. I don’t eat a lot of them so I don’t have a basis to compare it to. I will say that I was full of shrimp and filled me up.

Fried fish filet and/or the wings are the way to go. Their food is always fresh. Same goes for the fries and rice. If you’re just passing thru and looking for some easy food, this is a reliable spot. I would give a 4.5/5 if I could. Easily one of the better spots in town that have similar offerings.
