We loved this shop! Everything we had was terrific. We tried both of the daily tiffin (chicken and vegetarian), the kheer, limeade and the rosemary shortbread and the flavors were terrific. There is a great selection of grocery items as well and we got a perfect mango, a mango lassi and some spicy snack mix. All great and we left happy. This is the kind of place you will want to go back to again and again.

Saw Calcutta Kitchens a while ago while on my way somewhere else and it looked cute and promising, so finally stopped in. And it was totally worth it! Had the meat tiffin for lunch and it was so good that I got the veg tiffin to go for a meal at home. Will be back!

Beautiful little corner store. They don’t have a set menu but have one or two dishes everyday along with samosas and chai on a daily basis. They have an assortment of Indian snacks and drinks. They also sell their proprietary indian sauces and condiments at the store. I tried the dish of the day, Bengali chicken korma with basmati rice, samosas and limeade. All of them were fantastic!

Cheerful decor, friendly service and delicious home style Indian food. Their samosas and chai are among the best we’ve had anywhere. They also have difficult to find items like jackfruit curry and fresh curry leaves. We’re so glad to have them in our neighborhood. I’d be stopping by more often if I can figure out their daily menu without having to sign up for Instagram!

As soon as you walk in, it’s inviting, bright, and cheery. Everywhere you look, is something to tempt you – not just food, but refrigerated items, kitchenware, books, teas. The food is so fresh and delicious, and the staff and owner are super friendly and helpful. I work nearby, so I feel like I should go weekly to try everything!!! Do not pass this place up!

An excellent and much needed addition to the growing list of food options in Kingston. We’ve been here 3 times so far, only getting that samosas, but yesterday we finally came for a full lunch and really enjoyed it. There is also a nice selection of frozen food and condiments to purchase. The space is well designed, bright and the staff is friendly.
