I had Sunday breakfast here. I loved the atmosphere. My servers were friendly and professional they kept on checking up with me if I need anything which is always a plus. I had French toast with country potatoes and sunny side up egg with espresso, mocha. My potatoes were seasoned well and my mocho was just as much espresso as I needed, not too much not to little I enjoyed every bit of that espresso. French toast were firm too not too Sabby not too crisp must check this place out and if you are a car lover, they invite car lovers on every 3rd Sunday of the month which also a good experience and way to spend Sunday morning. I went there for soft launch dinner on opening day. I had chicken and waffle. My waffle was delicious thick cooked perfect but my chicken I think should have been a bit on a golden side but it seemed burned although it didn’t taste burn but as she served if, my first thought was over cooked chicken but didn’t let like it in taste but just to present it for customers, I think it should have been golden crispy fried color. I also believe that this dish should have been $10 or so because it was $14 and didn’t come with any sides compare to quesadilla which was $9 or so and had a side with it. I ended up getting half order of country potatoes with my entree and a small regular mocha and my total was $23+ with tip i spent like $27+.

Wife and I decided to try this out for lunch. Atmosphere was inviting and it wasn’t terribly busy. We were seated and ordered drinks and our meal. We ultimately had to ask for our food to go since we were on a lunch break and it was clear we weren’t going to be able to eat it there. My wife ordered the Cajun Chicken sandwich was was supposed to come with avocado and it was left off. I ordered the Ghostpepper cheeseburger. It had the sauce, burger, and cheese. No lettuce, onion or tomato and a small smattering of fries. Maybe it was an off day, but that was our first impression.

I stopped in to have a late breakfast while visiting the area. The service staff was friendly and attentive. I had an iced Caramel Latte and the Sausage Breakfast bowl. Both the coffee and the food were top notch!

This was the second time in the last few weeks my friends and I tried giving this restaurant another chance for lunch.. today we walked in and sat down right at 12pm. About 15 mins pass and 1 of the 2 servers came by and asked for our drink orders and I let her know we were ready to order. After noticing 3 other tables not receiving their food or any refills who were there before we got there, we decided it was probably going to be a very long wait. Around 1:20 my friends and I decided after no refill on drinks, no time frame that food would be ready, and at least one table leaving with no food, we decided to let the server know we didn’t want our food anymore and were just going to leave. Once our server was notified the other server comes out with 2 of our meals and it was not what we ordered.. sides incorrect and missing sauces and toppings on both our sandwiches. The fries were undercooked and did not have a good taste. We let the server know we still would be leaving and wanted to speak with the manager and the manager never came out to speak with us or anyone else dining in the hour and a half we were there. I believe the main issue is poor management and training the staff. Was really hoping this chance would have us wanting to come back but it unfortunately did the opposite.

We decided tried out the calhoun coffee co last weekend. The coffee is delicious I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the franchise stores ever again. The food was delicious! Lauren the new owner came up and introduced herself and was super super sweet! She’s new and understaffed and they still did great! Give them a chance! Big things are coming for the calhoun coffee co!
