This place is a bit hidden, especially at night. But I’m so glad we found it. The food was very good. I got the chicken sandwich. It was soo good, crispy and big! Cheesecake was amazing, small though. We got it with fresh blueberries . So good. It’s well lit at night and the heaters were on if you want to sit in the patio area (although they weren’t up as high as I would’ve like because I was still pretty cold). But it’s a cute, cozy ducked off spot.

I had the tofu bowl. It was fresh and the flavors were excellent. With tax and tip, it came in just under $20. A little pricey but everything is expensive now with this inflation. I’d definitely go back to have it again if I’m in that part of town.

Cali Alley is super delicious. I love the juicy fried chicken sandwich, and the fact that their side salad is actually good and not just a throwaway obligation. I recommend eating the sandwich if you have nothing to do for the rest of the day because it will take you down. Pure bliss. The seating area is very cute, but we also love taking our box to San Pablo park for an easy picnic.

Our family bought a Christmas Eve lunch from Cali Alley. And wow, it was delicious. Firstly, it seemed that they were taking all the appropriate COVID precautions (which I appreciate). Secondly, the food was all incredible. Everything was packaged neatly. The short rib specifically was my favorite. It was so tender and had a great, bright flavor. We also had the blueberry cheesecake. The crust, oh my! I need the recipe!! Overall, I had a great experience with Cali Alley and hope to buy more soon.
