Having just arrived (flight was delayed) and staying at a hotel in the area, I came here on a Sunday night for dinner… There was only one other patron in the joint when I got there, about an hour before they closed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful and friendly and explained the menu nicely… he also checked on me during my stay.

Margariet pizza came with several pieces without mozzarella and no basil at all. Who wants a pizza with just sauce on dough….. ordered a pizza with banana peppers and ham came with no ham and some pieces came with just one pepper. Spent $130 plus tip. Very overrated and expensive. And I didn’t even get to the service…….

I’ve ordered from Caliente on and off for a few years and over that time the quality has gone down it’s over priced with poor quality. I ordered a medium half cheese half pepperoni what I got was a smashed pizza cut into little slices no way is this a 21.00+ “medium” pizza

First time in Caliente. First time in the Crafton location. The overall experience was very good. Godfather hoagie was excellent. Served hot with the proper proportion of Meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sauce. The quality of taste was very good. I would order again! The small Pizza with pepperoni and mushroom had a medium dough quantity. The pizza was tasty and well baked. Wouldn’t call it the best pizza ever but pretty good is an accurate description. I enjoyed it so would eat it again. Megan our waitress was also very good. She helped make eating in the restaurant a great experience! Good job Meg!

Latest restaurant of chain in the Pittsburgh area. Serving pizza and beers yet their menu is extensive when it comes to both food and drinks. Full bar downstairs. Outdoor patio will be open in warmer weather. Great service. Pizza is very good except it does take a bit of a wait to get your order. Can also be a bit pricey. Takeout also available and can phone ahead with your order. Enjoyed Betty White’s garden pizza. which has basic vegetables on it. Limited vegan options available as well along with gluten free. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Great little shop in Crafton. We came in late and got a couple drinks and a small pizza everyone was friendly and the food was great!

Forgot my kids fries then couldn’t find waitress to tell her the zucchini was burnt black one one side and the salad lettuce mix was terrible. Also went there because we went to pirates game and because they scored 6 runs so my kids got a free personal pizza I figured just bring tickets they told me that is only online (go figure) so it was a terrible experience pizza was good tho

Whoever was answering calls on 4/29/23 could not answer basic questions about the menu. Asked if they were doing the gluten free pizza (like it’s posted online – since I can’t have gluten) and the girl said no we don’t do that. Ended up ordering wings instead. When I got to the restaurant the girl could not comprehend any basic questions I had. Even better, there was a sticker posted on my bag about the gluten free pizza and to the workers surprise she goes “oh, wow i guess we do have that.” Im glad the food is good but whoever is working the front was awful. How do you not know what items the restaurant is selling?

Update: The chain has priced itself out for a pizza/beer joint. Too expensive for the product that is good – but not exceptional. Come on, it’s pizza. $40 for a pizza is getting ridiculous. Also, they have also priced themselves out as a takeout, maybe they never considered themselves takeout. There is no deal for not using the services of the waitstaff / bar / bus staff / hosting – you pay the same overpriced for takeout as eat-in.

The owners are fully involved in each and every one of their locations, you can tell by the service, food, and atmosphere. The food has always been amazing, service exceptional and on time when ordered. Would rate 10 stars!
