I love their seared ahi tuna, with garlic butter it is even more wonderful. The restaurant is spotless, the crew are helpful and polite, and the food is consistently good. Sorry, I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my seared ahi tuna… Next time, for sure.

First the price went up like by $5. my fish portion were smaller than usual but they really cannot control it, but rice portion was also smaller than usual and the order looked squished. I was asking if they can add a bit more rice but the manager refused to add any not even one grain of rice arguing “this is the portion”. she needs to go! I have been going to these locations since 2008 so I kinda know the portion sizes. the orange county locations are better Irvine and Laguna hills are much better, better food a better customer service. I get it when the price goes up but why why the portion size going down?

California Fish Grill is a very good place to eat when craving fish. I like the location as there is always plenty of parking and the shop next door is a favorite of mine. I tend to enjoy the fish and chips when dining here and my partner tends to enjoy the grilled fish. They have some fairly decent sides to go with the fish and I recommend the sweet potato fries. The establishment is clean and doesn’t seem to be busy the times that we have visited. There is a wait on the food and that’s ok. I highly recommend California Fish Grill for a more fast food approach to dining.

Rude service, and the food eventhough it was in large portions, and it tasted good, my stomach had an adverse reaction to one of the ingredients. I will not be a returning customer. I asked their cashier while ordering if their fish was fresh and he arrogantly responded, ” It’s frozen. How fresh can our fish be, we are miles away from the ocean”.

Came her for the first time at this branch. Food was good. We ordered the poke bowl and salmon sandwich. It was different in a good way but for me the fish plate are always the best to order here. And the Staff was nice as well.
