I was so thrilled to finally visit the newly opened go-to sushi spot in Hermosa Beach. The moment I walked in, I fell in move with the tastefully decorated interior. The highlight of my visit was undoubtely the high quality sushi they served. Everything that we ordered was perfectly made with the best quality ingredients and the chef’s (Monica the owner) specially crafted sauce that they use for the sushi rolls. It really elevates the taste and sets this place apart drom other sushi places.

This place has been around since I was a kid. When they had to close, my friends, family, and I were all distraught. Now they’re back in the old Pick Up Stix spot in the Vons Plaza, and the food tastes the same! Absolutely delicious, whether you get teriyaki, sushi, udon, tempura, it’s the best. I’ve been back almost every day since opening and know I’ll be back often. Side note: any place that puts a big bottle of their teriyaki sauce on the table for you to use as you please is always an A+ in my book.

Walking distance from Holiday Inn. Giant portions, very reasonably priced. Got the giant boat, some seaweed salad, and spring rolls. Good sauce for the rolls, nice and spicy. Miso was good. Spicy tuna roll very good, nice little kick. Nigiri and sashimi seemed nice and fresh, and tasted great.
