All of the recipes at Calloway’s TN kitchen start with a base of quality ingredients that are locally sourced, when possible, and made fresh. Each item is made daily with that same spirit of how our family cooks in our own kitchen. We crack our eggs each morning, our chicken is hand breaded, hamburgers are made with fresh ground beef, and the pimento mac n cheese is made with real cream. Today we are proud to offer several local and regional ingredients including Benton’s Bacon, Sweet Water Valley Cheese, Swaggerty Sausage, Springer Mountain Farms Chicken, and more to provide all our customers with the flavors of East Tennessee. Stopped in at Calloway’s to get dinner last night. This restaurant is just a window in an Exxon gas station. Being my first time the guy walked me through the process. You place an order on a touch screen computer and pay at the gas station register. It was easy and convenient once I got it figured out. I got two chicken tenders and onion rings. The chicken is super fresh made to order with a fantastic breading. Crunchy breading with tender white meat chicken. A selection of dipping sauces is available. A large portion of batter dipped onion rings. Cooked very well crunchy and chewy. My girlfriend got crinkle cut fries that she liked. This place is a little expensive but the quality is there and that’s what counts. I dont mind expensive if the food is good and that’s the case here. I’m going back to try a burger for sure. I would reccomend you check out Calloways for a good quick meal on the go.

Our 1st and only time we visited was July 4th we waited in line for a bit just to order. Once we ordered it took a long time to receive our order of 2 cheese burger meals with fries and a side of fried pickles. No problem thought It be worth the wait. The one taking our order acted like we asked her to go out of her way to take our payment and hand our food to us. The both hamburgers were wrong and not like we ordered. The burgers was bland, no flavor and the fried pickles were ok. Most definitely no way was it worth $24.11. Will not be back.Decided to give breakfast a try and it was good. We’ve been there twice for breakfast and both time the service and food was good. May try lunch again and give them another chance. I’ll leave a 3 star review till I try lunch again. But the breakfast was better

The pricing was the only reason why I gave 4 stars. The prepackaged stuff is kind of steep for what you’re getting.

Vince and the Calloway’s team handled a breakfast order for our business event flawlessly. We knew they didn’t typically process orders for large groups, but we took a chance and they knocked it out of the park! We emailed with Vince to place our order for 80 breakfast biscuits (sausage/egg/cheese, bacon/egg/cheese, and chicken). A few days before pickup, we stopped by to pay in advance for a faster pickup day-of. Our biscuits were ready on time early in the morning and were stored in bags that helped to keep them warm. And of my gosh the biscuits were oh so good and huge!! We did have some leftovers and they reheat perfectly in the microwave. We will 100% work with Calloway’s again for group orders. Thank you!!

Great food. We got the Wrap, Chicken Tenders, Benton’s Bacon Mac N’ Cheese, and a side of Fries. All excellent. The tenders were large and juicy. Two tenders and the Mac N’ Cheese left me quite full. Would highly recommend. Seating is limited if the weather is lousy. But that’s expected since it’s at a gas station. Must try this place out.

I went through the drive thru this morning to pick up breakfast. Service was quick. I got “The Local” and was really impressed. Everything — the gravy, biscuit, bacon, chicken — was delicious and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back.

I enjoy coming to Calloways because it’s very close to where I work I work in the Browns creek shopping center, I will pass Bojangles, Taco Bell, sonic, Smokies pizza, add Hardee’s and the Hispanic restaurants on 321, because Callaway is so southern so good so delicious the food is quality is this a very beautiful exotic young lady that works there who is very kind and sweet I did not get her name but every time I close is very professional and very sweet. I can’t wait until you all get closer to 411 I know Morganton Road is to come but I will forever come to this one when I’m working by the way I also do drive all the way from 129 just to hear about off days, but I love the breakfast and I love the breakfast and I will be coming this morning as well put the biscuits are phenomenal the steak and gravy for a little the house roads but I’m at all the sweet tea is sweet and it is phenomenal. You could go inside select exactly what you want or you can go through the drive-through., Management here safely very attentive and very kind as well will be back. Tori PS I work in a weed shop i St a biscuit that were given to me at 830am way late in the day and it were still fresh I can’t wait for a chicken biscuit this AM

I heard good things about the chicken biscuits. Even though my expectations were high, the quality still exceeded. Wow! Maybe the best chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. Quality product cooked perfectly.

Stopped into Calloway’s this morning for a breakfast biscuit. It was $4 spent on garbage. Prior experiences have been good, but today was terrible. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was a crumbling mess, two pieces of cheese thrown on top, and nothing was hot enough to melt it. I am curious to know if the egg was even cooked today. It is a shame that someone has spent so much money on what appears to be state-of-the-art equipment only to pass uneatable food over the counter. I know it was only $4, but I am tired of throwing my money out the car window for poor quality when I was the only customer waiting for food this morning, and employees could care less what they serve.
