As a Jamaican I was delighted to hear that a Trinidadian restaurant had opened in Fort Pierce.. First visit I was hooked.. and since it’s been my go to place.. Food never dissapoints. Casual dining is usually met with other Caribbean people on the weekend which makes for lively conversations. When you meet the approval of Trinidadians it’s obviously good!

Best Trini Food in Saint Lucie County! Always love the vibe in here. Real Trini Vibes from the food, decor, music, staff (Family) and all the treats behind the counter. Count on having a culinary explosive experience. – I wanted to add to my review! – I bought the food this time for my moms birthday party. EVERYBODY asked where we got the food from! I sent them directly to you guys. The food was an absolute hit and it served about 10 people comfortably. That’s a really good deal for a couple hundred dollars. Super happy. Had to update. A lot of people want to make sure to tell the bad in reviews but these guys deserve all the clout.

This place may look like a hole in the wall, but the owners are so wonderful, warm, and hospitable. We felt right at home. Like we knew them for a long time. We were super excited to find a halal resturant in Ft. Pierce, FL. It was our first time here, and it was a great experience that we enjoyed with our kids. We had never tried Trinidadian food before, and the chef was a super sweet lady who is passionate about her art (cooking), and she prepared delicious dishes for us. Goat and chicken curry were a great option and the Roti was amazing, hot and fresh. Thank you and your son for the beautiful experience and your wonderful generosity for giving us mangos. We visited this place today. Let’s say firstly we were greeted by a nice young lady, so pleasant with a smile, great service as well. Great Trini cuisine finally v for this area!! Food portions were generous and tasty. Will definitely be back and so happy we found this little place today. Hubby loved his Shark and Bake, I had the Chinese special. It was great! Thank you!!

Don’t be deceived by the humble store, you are to experience a michelin level chef. The Trinidadian and guayanese flavors are complex and wholesome. You instantly feel mother earths roots and spices that soothe your palate and spirit. They can spice it hot or sweet like tamarind and mango Yum! The roti with Dahl is to live for , not to die for! What a lovely lunch I had!! Very reasonable for the price as I had leftovers for two additional meals.

This Saturday, we had the pleasure of dining at Calypso Cuisine for the 1st time. My friends and i just completed a very rigorous workout. It was four of us in total. We specifically saved our appetite for after our workout. OMG! I’m so glad that we did. The food at Calypso Cuisine was amazing! We were able to savor every bite of the curry chiicken roti w/the works, the oxtails w/ peas & rice, curry goat roti, saheena with chana, and doubles. We topped off our wonderful meal with an order of current rolls. We took some time to order because we were so indecisive as to what dish to order. Everything on the menu sounded so appetizing.
