I’ve been enjoying their Fantastic Italian food since I was a little girl. I’m turning 55 this week and Tony’s was my choice for my special day. Still love the food. Recipe never changes because it’s family owned. If you want homemade Italian food EAT AT TONY’S!!

Fantastic pizza ! Seriously, one of the best pies I’ve had in Fresno. Just the right amount if everything. I don’t like stuffed crust , rising crust , trendy nonsense. I like a good , traditional pizza with limited ingredients , old school style. The dough was perfect. Slightly crunchy on bottom and chewy throughout. My pie was pepperoni, sausage, onion and mushrooms. Delicious. Even my room mate kept commenting on how good it was. To top it off , the owner made the pie and he’s a good conversationalist in the meantime. Great pizza, great guy! Highly recommend. Forget the pizza chains , support your local shops!

I personally ordered 3 orders of Spicy Hot wings! I have to say they were very Good! I love he packaged them in air tight small aluminum trays! They were very delicious! I cant wait to come back to try their pizza & Calzones ! I grew up going to Tonys & was sad to see them close ! However i think Calzone Italia deserves a solid chance ! I love the tables to be able to dine in & appreciate the Screen T.V! The restaurant is super clean! I will Definitely be back with my friends & Family!

I gave two stars on uber because they were part of it. But because everyone in my party enjoyed their food except me l increased it, and the only reason l did not enjoy it is because l did not received what I ordered. I tried a bite of lasagnia and its good. But the first impression is mixed at best, l may try it again but I will check my order well. Mike O

We have ordered pizza and calzones from Calzone Italia 5 times so far and it has been consistently delicious every time!!! He he has best pizza in Fresno as far as we are concerned. Right up there with the original CALZONE’S that used to be on Stanislaus across from Frontier Chevrolet and Tony’s Pizzeria! Delicious food always served with great service and a smile. What a hidden gem!! Food is super freshly made and super affordable too. I ordered the pasta carbonara and it was the best carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. The pasta was perfectly al dente and I don’t know if they make the pasta on site or if they do something else but it’s just amazing. Most of the food too is less than $10 and they have amazing lunch specials. Highly recommend this place to anybody

This place is wonderful!!! I eat here all the time. I happened to read the reviews, I saw the post from Ghost Dude…… I decided to go place an order, & see for myself if the Owner would have had ANY reason to use a BandAid. So about an hour after I read the review(BTW, there was not a picture posted when I read the review) I went & ordered some food, & I asked to see his hands, & without any question he showed me up close, both sides of both hands. I saw ABSOLUTELY nothing, at all. No sign of a bandaid prior, nor did I see any cuts, wounds, etc. I’m posting this for a few reasons…. I love the food, the owner is very kind, & I just can’t imagine a bandaid, especially that size, in any of the food. Another reason I’m questioning it is because when I first read the review, there WAS NOT a picture. A day later, a picture was posted. I’m just saying, I’m pretty sure anyone would notice something of that size in the pizza. ESPECIALLY the person making the pizza. Regardless, the Owner sent another pizza right away to you.

OMG, I never ordered from here before, so I called in advance to ask about certain ingredients. Spoke with Sharma, awesome guy. Long and behold door dasher picked up wrong order and delivered to me., I called door dash and got a full credit, food delivered smelled delicious and hot, but I can’t eat red sauce, so I gave it to my neighbor, she said it is delicious. Called Sharma back, my order was still there, he had it delivered to me at no cost, now that’s what you call great customer service and a people’s business man. We need slot more of him, who cares about how your spending your bucks

Ordered a calzone and a lasagna from this place, and lasagna was basically a collection of noodles with a tiny bit of marinara on it and some cheese on top. It was not layered, there was no ricotta cheese, and it had an off taste like the meat or something in it was out of date. It was barely edible, and not truly lasagna as much as a pile of noodles. The calzone was slightly better, but only really had in it some ground beef a little bit of bell pepper some onions and that was about it. This food was really awful, it tasted like it had been sitting in the walk-in refrigerator for way too long. Never trying it again.
