Great Thai chicken fried rice and fried chicken spring roll! The spring roll was so good I forgot to take a picture of it beforehand! Would recommend. Everyone else at the table loved their green curry, beef pad Thai, papaya salad and veggie fried rice.

It’s alright. If I am to be perfectly honest, I was actually sort of surprised at the caliber of food, given the reviews. But, I think that speaks more to our area not being accustomed to genuine Thai food, more than it does the quality of the restaurant. Now, I am not generally one to bash a place for frugality, so I will try to state list as pleasantly as I can: they put ketchup in the pad Thai. Don’t get me wrong, I understand it is a move that many do to save time and money, but tomatoes don’t taste like tamarind, and it doesn’t pan out for people who know what pad Thai ought to taste like. It was such a turn off, that actually I couldn’t finish my meal. However, the fresh salad rolls were very tasty and while they didn’t have all of the ingredients I’m accustomed to, we still enjoyed them, immensely. The peanut sauce that came with them was from a jar; and not a high quality one either. But, the chili sauce was very good and went well with it. The seafood that came with the pad Thai my boyfriend got was good quality and fresh, so there’s that, as well. However, the Thai tea was astonishingly sweet, and conversely very weak in tea strength; I couldn’t finish that, either. All in all, I can’t honestly recommend this place totally, given what a disappointment it was. However, this was only my first time, and I do plan to return to taste some of other dishes before I make up my mind. They have some original fish dishes on the menu that I am hoping will be a better choice next time.

I always order Tom Kah soup and salad rolls and I’m never disappointed. It’s literally the best Tom Kah soup I’ve ever had.

Food was pretty good although it was noticeable that the oil had been used a bit as there were black spots on some of the fried foods from previous foods that were in the fryer. The Pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken were good and the hot tea hit the spot. There was only one person in the kitchen and one person taking orders, delivering food and helping in the back so service was lacking a bit. The Bldg is also in need of a spruce up. Overall, food was good, prices were good and I will be back! This is a local “hole in the wall” that you will be happy you found.

Nice little restaurant, shame that most people only did take out orders instead of eating in. Prices are great, and it’s easy to find in downtown Camas.

Review score is not on the quality of food as I do enjoy their food. However the rating is on never being open when the hours state they are open.

Camas Thai is delicious! They had four different specials all for 7.95 (included a salad roll, soup and entree!). We shared an appetizer of the crab puffs and they were very good too. We will definitely come again. Really good food at an amazing price point.

I haven’t found this place open for the past 3 years. I used to love their food, I keep being told that they are open now, but every time I go, usually around lunch time, they are not open. Not sure what the deal is.
