I’m somewhat of an expert in Mexican cuisine and eagerly tied this place on my own just a few days after they opened. I was quite impressed by great food and wonderful service along with the best atmosphere of any place in the area and a full bar with specialty cocktails.

Everything at Camelia is expertly executed. The interiors are gorgeous, from the instagrammable Angel wings on the green wall, to the lush velvet barstools, to the gorgeous flatware and glassware … you will feel extravagant dining here.

Took my friend for dinner for his Bday. Atmosphere is a little over the top, with techno playing, this is definitely trending throughout big cities. Refried beans & salsa trio with corn tortillas are served when seated. Menu was good, but felt not descriptive enough. Bone marrow appetizer, was really good, served with fresh corn tortillas (gf). My friend asked what the red mole was, our server with little english said delicious salsa. We knew it was beets when it came to the table. The one and only thing he is allergic to (menu, never said beets). I took it home and ate it the next day, it is gf & delicious. Server was very nice & tried her best, but there was a definite language barrier more than once. He reordered and got the octopus (gf), it was fantastic! They have several things marked Gluten Free. I have celiac, and had bone marrow, no reaction, had the the salmon, & bite of octopus, no reactions to any of it. My Salmon dish came with a piece of salmon on a plate with nothing else? Felt it was missing something?

Camelia Modern Mexican Cuisine in Denver is absolutely stunning! The place is filled with gorgeous decorations and the furniture is top-notch. But what really makes it special is the amazing staff. They’re so friendly and kind, making our night there absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time! I highly recommend checking out Camelia for a fun and memorable experience.

The ambiance, the food and drinks were more than I expected and amazing. The staff were well informed, friendly, and attentive, including the owner and executive chef. The dishes were beautifully plated. I and the aguachile with ribeye, the bone marrow Tuetanos, and the guacamole with tostadas. All were great, particularly the aguachile.

Oh boy where to start!?! Super disappointing. Don’t let the IG advertising suck you in! Service was terrible. Drinks came one at a time and took more than 15 minutes each time. They have very few tequilas and the server had no idea what they had! There were 3 other tables and it still took that long. We tried some apps. They were not even warm when they came out. And the mole…yuck. Like nothing I have tried before. Then it got worse. We ordered the oysters. They smelled fishy and we all spit them out. My stomach was bad for 24 hours. We asked to speak to the manager three times and he did not come. Again the restaurant was not busy at all. We ended up cancelling the rest of our order as we had not received it 45 minutes after we ordered it. When he finally arrived he did not want to hear what we had to say and quickly gave us our check. Did not say a word. This is ridiculous. Please don’t waste your money because its not cheap. To many great restaurants in this town!!!!

WOW! We went here for my birthday celebration and I can’t begin to describe how perfect it was. Great for big groups, ambiance was amazing and the food was even better. The Australian Tomahawk was such a treat. Chef Mark came out and presented it to us on a piping hot salt block. The tortillas are the best in town and each dish came out better then the last. A big thank you to Alberto for ensuring our table was taken care of all evening long. Definitely check this place out, you won’t regret it.

We visited for a group dinner on a Thursday. We ordered the tomahawk, octopus and mole for our entrees. The steak was cooked to perfection, the octopus was super tender, and the pink mole was super unique and tasty. We also ordered a few drinks and yummy churros for dessert. While it was clear that the staff was still training, they put in a lot of effort to take care of us. Overall, we had a great time.
