Large portions of delicious and freshly made foods, with the friendliest folks you will ever meet. For vegetarians, I recommend the eggplant tofu over rice dish, as well as the noodles seared in hot oil. Bring cash or venmo. I’d love more vegetable-rich options, because I’m gaining weight eating here so often! 🙂

Nice and clean, love the new renovations, they’ve made the place more sleek and moder. The food seems to have improved drastically as well due to the simpler menu. Speaking of the menu, it’s become much clearer and it’s easy to tell what you can and what you are ordering. I ordered the oxtail soup and the portions are pretty big, with 4 pieces of oxtail. Will definitely return again!

Get the hot sauce. Pretty solid Chinese food with some vegetarian options. I got the eggplant and tofu. I am unsure why it is listed as a Vietnamese restaurant.

5 STAR – Don’t let the current rating of this restaurant confuse you. The food is delicious, especially the braised lamb! Easily my #1 recommended in the area. Bring cash or use Venmo as they don’t take card.

According to a friend of mine, he had an awful experience at this restaurant. When he tried to order and pay with his credit card, the owner ridiculously yelled at him and started verbal abuse. Even after he went out to another restaurant, the owner unexpectedly followed him and kept yelling at him with the worst words you could think of. Finally, my friend hopped on a Uber and left the area to get rid of the owner’s stalking and bad words.

I’m conflicted. On one hand, I’m usually happy to give a place 4 or 5 stars if they’ve got at least 1 good, cheap dish – and this place’s crispy fish iron pot qualifies, with plenty of tasty fried fish fillets in a delicious sauce with vegetables. But the two other dishes I tried (their signature hot pot and oil-seared noodles) were so disappointing that I don’t think the fish is enough to offset them. The hot pot was just plain underseasoned and super skimpy on the meat (and half the meat that was there was overcooked slivers of beef). The noodles didn’t taste seared at all and came unmixed with cold toppings, making them a lukewarm and again, underseasoned experience.
