The food was good. The shrimp tacos were a bit different than what I’m used to. I think Caminos method was great. My issue had to of been with the service as a whole. My waitress got busy with a party that came in. We were very understanding, she can’t be everywhere. However, when she came back her question was, “Are y’all good?” When the salsa was gone, the drinks were low, and we had no saucers to eat our appetizers. The blinds were fully open with the sun beaming in our faces. I get that maybe it was our bad choice of seating, but the restaurant missed the care for us as customers. One of the guys brought us extra salsa, but didn’t see we had no chips. So the salsa was wasted. They were all nice, but the overall service just needed a bit more work.

We sat outside in the shade, and ordered the torta birria. The portion size was large, my partner finished mine for me – and the avocado and vegetables extremely fresh. Everything was of good quality. I’d like more spice to the birria, but my partner felt it hit the right note for him. Priced well, the only thing I’d like is more frequent drink refills. It may have been we got forgotten outside. We were also a little rushed to leave by the waitress, when we wanted a leisurely lunch she wanted our plates back.

They don’t answer the phone, I showed up at 10:40 and they were still setting the place up, I asked for breakfast burritos and even though they have burritos on their menu they couldn’t for some reason make a breakfast burrito. I ordered 2 tacos with eggs beans chorizo, bacon and potato. They added onions and meat to my taco because I’m pretty sure the potatoes that they used were from yesterday they did not look fresh and they did not taste fresh. I prefer fresh food when I order from a restaurant I will not be going back.

Best margaritas ever! My husband and I have been going to Caminos every week since we found this little gem a few months ago. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone is very friendly. We always look forward to going and introducing the restaurant to our friends.

Stopped in here before the Texas A&M football game. The food was good, but a little pricy IMHO for what you get. I will say the Barria tacos were really good and the waitress Yessica was very attentive and friendly.

Wow, am I glad baseball practice got rained out!! We pass by this place all the time on our way to HEB. Tonight my wife just said out of the blue, “why don’t we try the new Mexican place on Wellborn?” This is officially my new favorite place in College Station. The salsa was hands down the best in town by a wide margin. It was roasted and spicy and warm with a lime undertone. My wife and son always have cheese enchiladas with queso so it’s hard to judge a Mexican restaurant by their order. I, however, will order anything on the menu. I tried the carne de michoacan and it was seriously one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent memory!!
