Small Mom and Pop, Hole in the Wall place with limited parking. A hidden gem for those who want a break from the fast food cycle. Friendly and accommodating staff. The food is AMAZING!! Country Ham is JUST that!!! Prepared to where you don’t wanna stop eating because it’s soooooooooo good.

This place was a hidden gem we found on a quick trip to Alabama. We are from Kansas and had never heard of a slug burger. The service was excellent and food was excellent as well. The ladies were very nice and informative. I would definitely recommend you stop in for some southern hospitality

I really like this little place. First time here the waitress Sara is super nice. Food is homemade by her momma in the kitchen. You will feel at home here. I got the steak burger smothered in gravy and mushrooms. Sweet tea is the best. I’ll be back. Yummmm

I’ve been going to this establishment quite a few times, while the food has been consistently decent, the service has worsened with each visit. Up until this most recent visit, I brought my family for a breakfast. I neglected to order my drink as a 2go with a lid, in case one of my toddlers knock it over, and to save them a dish. Wouldn’t you know it my drink spilled and it got everywhere. I made attempts to clean as best I could with paper towels, but it was so much, and so sticky. I look for the waitress for assistance, but she was taking payment from another guest. I understood at the moment, why she hadn’t come to our aid. However she proceeded to ignore us and start cleaning the table of the aforementioned guest. I didn’t want her to clean for me/us but at the very least provide some towels or cleaners so it wouldn’t just be sticky. This blatant act of disregard to your customer’s plight is why from henceforth I will not be coming back.

Hi I’m capt Ray, I stopped in there early one morning to get coffee. On the way in the building I noticed a table and chairs outside must be the smoking section? I went inside though and had breakfast, decided to go sit outside finish my coffee and have a cigarette. By the way they are just at Walnut city limits on Highway 72 that should northern Mississippi the staff was friendly. Yes I would go back and eat there…
