This was my first time hearing about this place. I came before I went to a Jazz concert at the union. I love that it’s a rooftop restaurant and the inside the restaurant looks like a camper. The view was beautiful! I got the Cobb salad and ask for no bacon, but there was bacon in my salad. Our drinks were tasty.

Venue is great – you kind of can’t help but smile at the cheeky vibe, especially if you have summer camp experiences to be nostalgic about. And you can’t beat that view!

Before I continue to write this review, I want you to know I tried to work this out with management and it was an epic fail. The 3 of us were impressed with the place when we walked in. We found out we have to prepay and tip before even receiving our food. We waited over 30 minutes for salads on a small plate that had wilted lettuce! In addition, those salads were around $17 and they are tiny too. The 3rd girl didn’t get her fried chicken sandwich for an additional 15 minutes. We sat there waiting for her to get her chicken sandwich while we were starving. I actually had to go get it myself from the cook’s area!!! We came in around 2:45pm and there 4 customers besides us and 3 people that I saw working. They can’t make the excuse that they were short staffed!

Seat yourself grab a game or 2 and scan the QR for the menu! Fun drinks and solid bar type food with burgers and apps. Great theme and vibe plus some of the best views of lake/campus area!

A fantastic rooftop view of downtown Madison combined with a traditional Up Nort’ atmosphere makes this a relaxing place to hang out. Great selection of local beers on tap and in bottles. Your “camp counselors” also have an excellent stockpile of board games to liven up your trip to Trippalindee!

We stopped up at the roof because we were staying at the Graduate, just to see what it was all about. While we didn’t get anything to eat or drink, the view from up here is fantastic!

The camp theme is amazingly well done. The views from the outdoor lounge were great. It was a good place to spend an afternoon with food, cocktails and games to play at your table. Food is ordered at the bar, no wait staff. Burgers, fried chicken sandwich and impossible burger were all delicious. Due to the location the clientele seemed to lean towards out of town guests.

Very cute, cozy atmosphere with northwoods vibes. Food is good, but it’s quite expensive. They have alcoholic juice packs which are delicious and pretty strong. They also have board games (and several oversized board games too).

I love Graduate hotels and I wanted this to be so much better. They took the hotel theme a little too far with dinner. It was served on paper plates and beyond-basic. Very plain burgers and sandwiches with basic fries / Tator tots. Wisconsin / “camping” can be more than paper plate basics!

Gorgeous view and the fires will be nice in cold weather. Unfortunately though it had just rained when we went so we opted for indoors.
