Stopped in to watch some basketball and have a couple of drinks. The place is narrow but has a cozy vibe with brick, pressed tin, booths and a bar. The drinks we ordered were good. We didn’t get food but everything looked good. It was a chill place to hang out. We hope to return.

giving five stars for the greatest service provided by Aliyah up in the front!! She made my evening. My hubby can’t get enough of the wedge salad there something about the balsamic drizzle that really ties the whole dish together. I see so many people order the fried chicken sandwich, it always smells so good; will try it out next time I go there. Go Aliyah!!!

Location is very convenient and cute. Great, socially-distanced outdoor seating. Good food overall! Thai coconut sauce mussels were delicious. The drinks (we got Kentucky mule and red wine sangria were okay – both could have been stronger).

My wife and I had our first date night in a year and a half together here based on the positive reviews, and we have BIG regrets. Immediately upon entering they steered us “upstairs,” like that was a fancy option (“Would you like to sit upstairs?” “We haven’t been before, should we?” And when we got upstairs we saw that it’s their generic bar area, as opposed to a nicer area downstairs that we only saw on our way out). Our entrees came three minutes after our appetizers, and when I complained about it to the person who brought the meals he offered to-go boxes for the appetizers, which obviously wasn’t the issue. When our server asked about the uneaten appetizers, I explained that we didn’t have a chance to eat them and she instead deflected to asking about our meals and didn’t address the issue that we had (she said she was new, although that doesn’t explain her ambivalence).

I like it here. I feel relaxed, comfortable and welcomed at Campbell’s Place. My partner and I had a really nice night here. My fish tacos were delicious and super flavorful and I appreciated the friendly down-to-earth service. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my partner’s Old Fashion was not very good. He originally asked for a Negroni, but they were out. The Old Fashion was pretty watered down and just tasted… off.

We stopped in Campbells tonight because I love the fish tacos- while the tacos were delicious as always, I won’t be back. We sat at the bar, two men behind us at a booth complained about flies in their drink- the server with the long blonde hair took the drink, went behind the bar, took a straw fished out the flies and dumped the drink in a new glass and took it back to them. How disgusting!!! If that happens out front, I can’t imagine what happens in the kitchen!

I took a guest out! They brought octopus in a broken plate and the sauce splashed all over it and taste was nasty! We had to return the food! They brought cheesestake and lobster which was nastier than the octopus! I was so embarrassed!!!!
