The food was good but the service was abysmal. I had the paelha. It had a variety of seafood and quite a bit of it. The shrimp was peel & eat, which is fine, but they missed one which was right on top and none of them were cleaned. It was a very tasty dish. The service was beyond terrible from our waitress. Another waitress cleared out plates and told our waitress at least twice that we were ready leave and still ignored us. We had to ask the other waitress for our check. When ours finally brought it, nothing was said. It was enough to make me not want to go back.

A great little hole in the wall kind of place with a friendly local crowd. Standard Portuguese fare with specials on the board. Attentive waitstaff. Parking is limited.

I am born and raised in Azores/Portugal. The food here is an okay and it is only a Portuguese style food. Not an authentic Portuguese food. I am surprised many people liked it. I think they forgot the tasty a true authentic Portuguese culture. Sorry about my English. In America, no Portuguese restaurants are the same as in Ponta Delgada, and in Portugal at all. In Portugal/Azores the food are the best and very flavorful!!! Here in Rhode Island and in Boston… The taste was absolutely different and it was an okay. Not great taste at all. And the building outside looks awful and dirty. And the sign is too far away from the building. The building itself have no sign but a pole with sign a far away. It doesnt make sense. No.. it is not very neat building at all from the outside. And the parking is too small! Many red wines are not actually from Portugal. Only a few. Most are California red wine. UGH! A disappointment but I give it a 2 stars. It is not AUTHENTIC PORTUGUESE FOOD at all!

What an amazing find. During our Providence visit we had a dinner on Saturday night at Campinos Portuguese. Selea was our server. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had octopus (very tender and very tasty) paella (spicy and very tasty) and rack of lamb (best I ever had). Everything was very, very good. Definitely coming back and recommending to my friends.

OMG, tried this tucked away spot one night when I was looking for pork chops, and wow what a delight. Every dish I’ve had since is soooo delicious. Try the grill Octopus!!!!

Quite good. I had the buffet, but I did arrive at 3 p.m. so the food was a little dry. My fault for the late arrival. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. The service was excellent.

Been here few times, this is my last, brought dad for Father’s day and everything was just okay, nothing that would make me want to return again, the pork and little necks were just Meh, some of the pork meat burned a bit while cooking and you could clearly see the char which wasn’t tasty, just tasted like old food, not very fresh, like leftovers, our group felt the same, for these prices I expect extraordinary flavors, the portions are huge but the quality just isn’t there, we ordered Shrimp Alinho and found the Shrimp were huge however they were chewy and even with the sauce it just couldn’t save it, even the garlic in the sauce was too raw, they never truly sautéed that garlic leaving it bitter and not enjoyable, I’m officially done with this place, there’s far better Portuguese food out there in the city as well as Fall River
