Campo Azul is a nice, clean, well-decorated restaurant that serves Mexican and some American food. They have hot tea, which always makes me happy. Staff are friendly and efficient. We were seated right away, our orders were taken quickly, and food arrived swiftly. We came for breakfast, and I had the Wednesday special. The scrambled eggs were okay with salsa on them, and the bacon was chewy, but the beans tasted delicious. My companions had fluffy pancakes, which they devoured. I admired the cleanliness of the kitchen and the color scheme of the dining area. The TV had on the morning news. There was also a separate meeting room that can be reserved. It was a pleasant dining experience.

For the drinks we got the Michelada Ultra and Domestic draft beer from Fredericksburg, they were really good and super refreshing! We also got the plate “Fajitas for 2” It has such a good flavor and it’s a lot of food! Definitely very filling. All the workers are really nice and they have super fast service. Our waitress was CARINA she’s really nice and super attentive! Ya’ll should definitely ask for her. If you’re in or around Fredericksburg Tx. I definitely recommend y’all to try this place out

My husband loved his meal (Parrillada Campo Azul), we both LOVED the guacamole, but my dish (Steak and Shrimp) was nothing special. However, I did love it when I sliced the steak, added it and the shrimp to my side salad, and topped it with their yummy salsa and guacamole… totally transformed it! Also, my husband LOVED their flan. And the service was excellent.

I cannot say enough about how great and fantastic the food was. In addition, the service was more than amazing. The prices were phenomenal. They had ample parking that was easy to get in and out of. The prices per plate were more than reasonable. The portions were huge, I am going to truly miss this place being an out of towner myself, but I will make great effort to try and come by here again. I didn’t want to eat again for the rest of the day so that I could try and savor the flavor of this restaurants cuisine. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

The family and I were in town for an extended weekend staying at a nearby Hotel. We had just about everything in town, German food pizza and a few other places. No Mexican food. My wife looked at the reviews on this place and they look pretty good, so we gave them a whirl. Everything was good the service was fast. We especially liked the cheese sauce chips and guacamole. We liked it so much that the next morning we came back and had breakfast. We will be paying these guys a visit next time we’re in town.

Campo Azul was our savior when we were on our trip to Fredericksburg and craving for good food. We checked this place based on the reviews and we actually liked the place. They had a good ambience, friendly staffs and served us good food as well. The best part of the food was its quantity which was so filling and helped us for the rest of the day.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Charged for fajita beef & didn’t receive, upcharge for cheese on a taco AND we were charged for a drink that was sent back!! 1.5 hours for 3 tacos and a salad with only 3 tables occupied.

Quesidillas were very greasy. Premium margaritas state choose your tequila. What they don’t tell you is if you pick anything higher than low grade tequila they charge $2 extra. Don’t know that until you get the bill. What a ripoff when they are already charging $13.50 for the margaritas.
