The sides here are delicious but unfortunately the chicken was very dry. The lady up front was pretty rude, she was busy, but I didn’t give her a reason to be rude like that. I would not come back for the chicken but will probably try their snow cones soon.

Just tried this place for the first time today and we will definitely be back. Didn’t know it was there because the sign is difficult to read as you’re driving by. The owner was SUPER NICE. I’m sharing because people need to know about his delicious food.

I just had the most amazing mac and cheese! What a delightful surprise to find such delicious bbq at the UT Hospital cafeteria. I was expecting hospital food and instead enjoyed a smoky pulled chicken plate with cornbread and that epic mac and cheese. I will definitely check out their restaurant.

I tried the chicken salad plate with the best tangy, perfectly seasoned green beans and a side of creamy coleslaw. The chicken salad itself was so good I ordered a pint to take home with me. My daughter ordered the double burger and she loved it. She let me taste the meat and it was blissful! The staff there were so nice and didn’t make us feel like we were an inconvenience, they made us feel welcomed and wanted. Please try this place, you will not regret it! It’s located in front of Burger King and TVA, beside Waffle House on Chapman highway.

This was my first time eating here and I have to say, I’m a little underwhelmed with the food alone but then add the price and it’s even more unsatisfying. I had the chicken breast which tasted citrusy rather than smokey, lacked seasoning, and was a tad on the chewy/dry side. The mac and cheese was also underwhelming, it lacked flavor and was a bit grainy. The green beans were obviously canned and greasy but were seasoned.

CAMPS has great food. I got the 1/2 chicken, corn salad, corn on the cob, and the corn bread. Got more corn than I realized but it was all very good. The chicken has a great smokey flavor. The restaurant does fill up with smoke a little bit cause the smoker out in the front parking lot so be ready for that. Besides that, everything was great. Definitely recommend it!

Don’t let the exterior deter you, this restaurant had a nice modern farmhouse style on the inside and a friendly staff. The food was amazing. The smoked half chicken was bold in flavor and the homemade Mac and cheese was a nice compliment.

Great food… the owner is very friendly and makes sure your food is good. Quick service!! My go to is the half chicken with BBQ sauce to dip it in…. the Mac n cheese is soooooooooooooo good & cheesy! And then the corn bread. …. delicious . When we are in the area it’s always a must stop!! I love supporting small businesses but the food is definitely worth being a repeat customer! If you haven’t tried it yet try it! You’ll thank me later
