Overcooked, dark brown, walleye, which I question was really walleye. Rotten grapes, ish! Among the worst waiters I ever have had! No service is worse than poor service! Warm beer, not even filled to the top. House margarita was undrinkable, no one cared to try to rectify the problem. Never again!

We enjoy stopping by here on our way through. They have good food and a good salad bar. The It is nice to be able to sit outside right on the canal to enjoy our meal.The kids enjoy the arcade game and the large gift shop.

Upon entering the restaurant we were warned by the host that it would be a significant wait for our food. They had gotten busier than expected and food could take up to an hour! We decided to stay, mostly because if we drove somewhere else, it would be an hour before we ate anyway. I’m glad we stayed! Our server was fantastic and the food was exceptional. The lettuce on the salad bar was nice and green, we got our appetizer pretty quickly, and the chicken dinners (although they did take an hour) were very flavorful! The side dishes were fresh, seasoned veggies and real mashed potatoes, not canned and instant like so many places are defaulting to nowadays.

Very good food here. We have been there many times for lunch and dinner. We have had burgers, walleye tacos, chicken sandwich and all has been great. Ralph last served us and he was very friendly, profession, and efficient.

Friday Night Fish Fry! All you can eat! A great deal if you have a big appetite. Alas, we don’t, but it was still nice to have the option for more. The salad bar was nice, the clam chowder excellent, and the service was extraordinary! Friendly and efficient and aware, you can’t ask for better.

Whoa, how do things change. Yes, we are late season diners but over cooked food and staff that was not interested in our opinions. I guess we will wait until next year to see if things correct back to normal.

We love coming here during the summer and sitting outside by the canal but they don’t have full wait staff outside which we know and are ok with. We visited on the last day of their season this year and they were having all you can eat fish for a steal! But had to eat inside. Well we asked if they would do it for us this one time and they said they would! They were awesome! And the fish was SO GOOD. We honestly didn’t have high hopes because it was so cheap and the last day of the year for them but it far exceeded our expectations. The breading was light and full of flavor and the fish was so tasty, very fresh tasting and light. The fries were delicious too. It was a great way to spend our last day on the lake and will come back again next summer.
