Wonderful atmosphere~ clean, spacious, with lovely background music. The authentic Paloma cocktail and margarita was well-made. Shrimp tacos and chicken enchilada was timely, hot and delicious. Topped off a delightful experience with a gracious host who recommended the Butter Toffee Cake. It was a win! Definitely will go back and highly recommend.

We catered Cancun for our rehearsal dinner and they were amazing! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was outstanding!! They loaded everything for us, had cold food on ice, loaned us the warming trays, and the list goes on. They were a last minute change due to poor service at another restaurant and I am so glad we changed. Cancun you have my loyalty. Thank you!!!

I’ve been here plenty of times before and will probably go back. The food is pretty good (although not amazing) and the prices are good. Our food came out very fast and the staff was friendly. I was a bit annoyed by the TV behind the bar and the inappropriate show being shown, I would have left if I had small children because I wouldn’t have wanted them to see it. It just made the atmosphere feel a bit icky to see the pole dancing and twerking.

Love Cancun but I have to take a star off my original 5-star rating. I get the same dish every time and the cost just keeps increasing to the point where I’m not sure it justifies it anymore. It used to be a wonderful “let’s eat out” option, but now it’s so pricey you have to be willing to fork out $50+ for two people, and the quality of the dish is really reliant on the skill of the cook that day. Some days it’s great and others it’s a regret. For a marg and my dish it’s almost $30 and you just can’t roll the dice with that kind of expense. We used to eat here like every other week and now it’s maybe three times a year.

I have been to Mexican restaurants all over the U.S. This place is an absolute rip off. Servers and staff were pleasant, but the prices for one are very steep, and then throw in the portion sizes and you feel like you have been taken for. Definitely won’t be back as you get better food and portions from Chipotle. $4 for a street taco that maybe had 2 oz of carna asada. Anybody who has ever had a legit street taco knows they load them with so much meat that the 2nd tortilla that comes with the taco (only 1 tortilla on their street tacos go figure) can easily make 2 tacos out of.

Average Mexican food. I got one of their lunch specials, which is a solid deal. Tamale was gross. More like a corn cake with meat on top. Their salsa, chips & service were good though. I would go back if their was no other options around. But it’s eau Claire, so their is plenty of other options.
