I love this place! They have chicken cordon blue, which is one of my most favorite things. The atmosphere was great and the service was so nice.

I didn’t actually go this particular day for I was looking for steamed crabs so I was calling everywhere. But I have ate here probably 100 times when my husband was living. He loved the huge muffins. Thanks for the memories and I’m filling the below portion out for 1 of the things we’d get back in a day.

Beautiful dining experience in a converted Victorian in Keyser, WV. Period wallpapaper and flooring complement the farmstyle decor and the draperies and furnishings from the latest 1800s in the era of king Coal and the railroads, when Keyser was in its glory. Food, service, and atmosphere were all superb. No pictures this time, we were too busy examining the surroundings and the delicious foods.

Impromptu stop for lunch and it was the best decision of the day! Fred’s party chicken was delicious and unique!! Crab stuffed mushrooms and French onion soup were also amazing! High end food in a cozy atmosphere! Definitely recommend eating here!!!

Nice ambience. Food came fairly fast and it was all good. Two of us had the Seafood Burrito and loved it. One had the Stuffed Chicken Breast and liked it. The last person had the special stuffed chicken and wasn’t overly crazy about it because of the cheese they used.

Have passed Candlewyck for numerous years and at sister’s suggestion we stopped in on Sunday. Was extremely pleased with food and service. Will become new restaurant of choice when passing through Keyser!

Lovely restaurant with a pleasant ambiance and delightful friendly service. Food was pretty good for small town America. The French onion soup was delicious. Had a crab cake Benedict which was low on crab. Many of the most interesting sounding appetizers were out but that was probably our fault for arriving at 2pm on a Sunday.

An ornate and fine dining experience with some drawbacks. The food was good, however quite expensive. The building looks unassuming on the outside, but is gorgeous on the inside, if you look past the poor paint and wallpaper job. Overall, a fine dining experience in Keyser WV. Worth a stop, it you have time to wait and want to make an impression or have a nice dinner out.
